How would you improve the fighting system?

So as the dst develops it also needs to improve on it's existing mechanics. One of them is fighting. Klei's already in the proces of spicing things up (for example Shattered Spider's crystal attack or Skittersquid's ink blob).

I made this thead so that yall can share your ideas about how to make fighting more interesting

So here are some of my ideas:

-Spider with a fungal parasite, I've thrown this ideas around in previous threads of mine, it would use a simmilar mechanic to Gemmed Hounds'. Basically it would attack you like a normal spider but after you kill it it's bbody after let's say 3 seconds would burst into the same spore cloud that Toadstool uses.

-Petrified enemy who you need to mine down in order to kill them. Pretty self-explanatory, something simmilar to how you cannot kill Poison Birchut Trees and instead need to chop tchem down. Except that this would be a moving enemy

-Utilizing other gems. We have red hounds and blue hounds but what about other gems? Well I tought that a giant moleworms would be pretty swell since molewroms eat anything rocks-related. Each one would have some sort of ability related to that gem.

-Adding weapons with abilities like in forge. 

-Enemies that can dodge- similar to Thief Pig or Scorpion from Hamlet who will jump back after being hit to not be stun locked

How do you take care of meteors?

So I was just building my base minding my own buissness but then some meteors come and destroy my base, but how can I stop them from breaking my base? I see a lot of people with megabases so how do they stop meteors from just destroying everything? Or do you just have to live with it and rebuild everything they break?

Do you know any game mechanic that could not be very popular, you use for your advantage and could let us know?

For example: If you feed a pig x4 monster meat and kill it, you get 2x meat and 1x pig skin; two out of three ingredients to prototype hambat, also, you can repeat the process to get pig skin without destroying pig houses.

My monitor for (dst only it seems) keeps on turning off and on

I recently had built a new computer. I was playing cs and some other games and it had been working perfectly. However when i botted into dst and joined a game, my monitor had started turning off and on. It seems to do this when i alt tab from a fullscreen game. So, i'm not sure if the game is alt tabbing itself and going back into itself to cause this, or if there is another issue. I'm using displayport just to let you know.

Wendy Rework?

So I've heard about the next rework most likely being soon for DST and people wanting a Wendy Rework. I very much want this because I play Wendy and I have some input on this possibly.

Wendy) So currently as it Stands, Wendy only deals 75% damage and loses 25% less sanity from night/dusk and other sanity auras. This is it. None of it should change, but there needs to be more that still makes sense to her character. Personally, I think one of the additions should have to do with Graves. Sanity loss should be lowered to at least 10 and the chance for ghosts should be lowered. A thought some people had was that she should also be able to more easily revive people. She might take less damage for effigies and telltale hearts (30 or 20 not 40). She should also lose less or NO (preferably) sanity from ghost players (HER SISTER IS ONE).

Abigail) as it stands for Abigail, She has her flower, takes 50 sanity to summon, has 600 health with 1hp per second of healing and does an AoE attack of 10, 20, 40, during Day, Dusk, Night, respectively. I think this is good, This currently stands very well for Wendy's role as a group mob person via Abigail. The problem is bosses and control. I think that for boss fights Wendy could make certain objects that tinker Abigail's role in the fight. They would turn Abigail into more of a support (giving Wendy MORE than 100%, higher Armor, or speed boost for a bit). These objects would take up sanity like it does to summon Abigail, though not as much. They should be a little expensive and last a decent amount of time but not too long (30 sec?) For crafting it might take nightmare fuel or petals, and items that correspond with there purpose. For better control of Abigail, maybe you could pacify, or force Abigail to follow close behind you if she is fighting something you don't want. I also think if you are in a rare situation where you have to attack Abigail and un-summon her, it should take WAY less time for her flower if you are the one to kill her.

Other Stuff) I don't want a Woodie problem again. If Wendy is reworked and a video is released, IT NEEDS TO ACTUALLY HAVE LORE. Have it be the twins playing when they are younger (this fits for what we got for Warly), something alluding to how Abigail died (or how Wendy can summon her), or how she might be related to Maxwell. NOT some random stuff of her new powers.

reflexion about some mobs

With the new lunar biome i get excited to see that desing in spiders but why will i fight a stronger spider if the loot is the same? Just for having fun but this is a survival game, we should take the safer way to farm and farming regular spiders its so much safe than lunar spiders and has the exactly same % drops, spider caves unless has bones in their dens but lunar spiders should drop something unique like glass (i know their den drops glass but i dont want to destroy the only non renewable). 

Also happens with Varg, why fight him when i have a chest with 400 fangs? He should arrive sometimes instead of hound waves in mid/late game

" i dont have to fight dragonfly but she makes my life more confortable" that should be goal of fighting not required mobs: LOOT

Deerclops should be so agressive to the players, its anticlimatic to looking for the monster when spawns instead of running from the monster. Its less scary if you look after the monster. Bearger should has more glutony against players food farms and fridge. 

And i  think that bosses like dragonfly, bee queen, etc (bosses that you can fight when you are ready) kills the survival experience. Yeah, Dragonfly and Beequen has more than 20K hp but i got time to farm 20 log suits and 40 dragonpie so where is the challenge? Dont miss understand me (easy with my poor english :p) I like those bosses but I think we dont need more. Albatross its an example, I had navigate for days and the only true danger found are rocks, Albatros should come like deerclop but in sea or let albatross being mad when you fish and add a sea boss that follows you when you are sealing for so long. 

Antlion doing earthquakes if you dont feed/kill him its a great example of what  i want, better than summer boss of RoG (dragonfly). In reing of giants every giant comes to you but they change it in dst, i love how they change moose and dragonfly and adding antlion as summer boss

Short Evolution of the Constants design. (Is the constant really such a bad place?)

So I feel I'm not the only one who noticed. But ever since the change of art styles through the years of dont starve, they seem to make the constant have a more friendlier and pretty look compared to how the constant's grim and  grey-ish design. It even now looks like a suprisingly interesting place that I would want to live in. So I decided to look back over a few designs of the constant and give it a short look over.

(Vanilla Dont starve where everything was grey, no sky or nothing even the grass was shallow and grey almost like a shadow at least in this image. Theres nothing really much to tell about the artsyle since it sort of just feels... empty... though, It gives a voidless and empty feeling pretty well.)

(A picture of the tragic torch comic taken during the metheus puzzle  which was about around the beginning of a new reign. Which the art style still keeps the colorless feeling of the constant before, giving it a colorless and void feeling but the artsyle changed to fit more into the chibi style the game has which is nice touch showing detail to things we see in the game with more life and feeling even adding a sun and moon to tell that time has changed. It's also personally my favorite style)

(The possessions trailer during before return of them took place but at the very start of the 2019 roadmap. Now this might be hard to judge since the artsyle was done this way on purpose to tell a child's storybook type of vibe, but everything is extremely colorful and the sky has a color besides the classic voidless prison grey we usually see. And you can sort of tell that the season is autumn with all the vibrant colors of yellow and orange.)

(this one is also hard to tell since again, it was done on purpose to give a vibe of a warm summer day to motivate wilson to go out and give fishing a shot the detail is extremely well and the sky gives out a really vibrant feel and is extremely colorful! Also interesting enough there's actual real life clouds. Which now it makes me wonder, how big is the actual constant? Sorry that this seems a bit short, (I had to rewrite this three times from technical difficulties I was actually done on my second try and my tab for some reason backed out making me lose half my progress... ;-;) this was a thing I really wanted to talk about for a while and in no way I'm disapproving the new friendly and welcoming artsyle for the constant, I think it looks neat and shows that the constant is an actually living and breathing ecosystem rather then some voidless prison are characters are trapped in. And it really shows how big the constant really is other then when maxwell had power over it (I wonder if Charlie made the new creatures for the return of them like the skittersquids. What do other people think of the constant's "character development"?

 

Cant get twitch drops

So... i cant seem to get any twitch drops. I go to my accounts page and it says that my account is already linked with twitch, and on twith it says that i am in fact linked with steam. Yet I cannot get any drops.

After adding new character called Wurt, Merms were changed. I was looking at wiki, about news and I found there name: "GLURTSEN

Can you explain who is Glurtsen he please??

I only know, the merm's quotes, where they celebrate him, like some kind of "dictator", or someone simmilar...

Note: I posted this here because it would not let me post in story/lore. Extra Note: I posted this because I spent so much time on this I wanna post it anyways.

You might be wondering, who in the hell do I mean by "Them" well, recently watching Zeklo story overviews and theories, (Though they are old, some of the information discussed can still be relevant I do believe.) I have become interested in this part of the story. If you haven't already, I recommend Zeklo's videos "Who is the Fuelweaver?" and "Who is Metheus?" to understand more I guess. Correct me in any way if I'm wrong about anything I state, but from my understanding, the ancients were once a thriving people that were destroyed by the use of nightmare fuel. The Fuelweaver's statements suggest that the power was given to him and that he was once king- Hold up I gotta stop right there, I just realized Zeklo has posted a video about this, please go watch it, and the others, I hope I did also help some people fill in some blanks. Haha, so sorry. :<

Overheating on boat and at Desert

I have played don't starve and recently purchased DST and found that there are more season in SST than DS. I somehow surviving summer now and want to know that Will I have to build endothermic firepit on boat to roam in Sea or overheating will not effect in boat?

I am asking because in some videos I have seen that people are building farms and chests on boat.

Also someone told me that overheating is not an issue at desert. Is that correct ?
