So I recently found out that some ocean dishes got buffed, recently (credit to @Maxil20 and @Scypham:
and it got me thinking, what if more of the crockpot dishes got similar, changed attributes?
So I'm making this poll to gauge opinions on which Crock pot dishes you guys think dishes specifically need changes, whether they get buffed on or get nerfed on.
I'll start discussion by wishing that Monster Tartare gets tuned back to its nondamaging stat value in Shipwrecked; also, I want to see a buff to Fruit Medley so it sees more use. Even a similar value to Trail Mix's 30 hp would be nice.
As always, vote and discuss as you will! I may make a similar poll on non crock pot dish food item tuning after this.
I believe the rabbit Willam Carter failed to pull out of his hat is the rabbit king. Based on his quote for the rabbit king where he calls the rabbit by his first name Simon

I was getting into the lore of the ancients again and I couldn't seem to find much information on the Eye or as charlie has called it "the mirror". Aside from the implications of charlie calling it a mirror or eluding to it in the play, Do we have any established name similar to how Altar is the presumed name of the "moon"?
I mean we obviously see it within the murals of the ancients how its influence seemed to lead to the destruction of the ancient civilization, but as far as I know I don't think we have a way to translate the weird text on it.
After initiating the Lunar Rifts Cycle, Deadly Brightshades start popping up at player planted gardens across the map. Deadly Brightshade only target certain plants, including berry bushes. Pearl's Island has 8 berry by this point in the game's progress creating a viable garden for Brightshade Gestalts, which ensures that Deadly Brightshade's will be waiting for you every time you wish to visit Pearl.
I don't tend to have many separate gardens consisting of viable targets, so if I do not clear the Deadly Brightshade's from my single viable garden then they choose the second most densely populated garden. In my case, that was Pearl's Island.
Sailing to Pearl's Island was an unfun change of pace when I just wanted to acquire the new endgame gear I had just unlocked.
Additionally, the Deadly Brightshades regularly spawning on Pearl's Island also disrupt any fishing trip. I kind of view fishing as relaxed way too get food, so having to deal with the annoyance of a Brightshade infestation is not fun.
Pearl is the NPC that player's talk to most, so I have grown quite fond of her. I tend to manicure her island quite a bit. I don't like the landscaping being messed up.
The little old lady should have a garden free of weeds, but the only way currently in game is the remove the berry bushes from her island. Therefore, I think it would be a good change to have Pearl's Island be free of Deadly Brightshade's. Their removal would make the unique parts of Pearl's Island continue to shine even into the late game.
Flying creatures like bee queen or dragonfly don't set tooth traps or bramble traps off
When they get slept they all visibly land.
I wish the traps activated when it happens.
Also in case of wormwood it would be cool if one part of the kit (sleepy mushroom cloud) enabled other part of the kit (the traps).
You built a varg farm that produces kbphjillion teeth a second? You killed misery toadstool without chopping trees? You built the highest DPS machine utilizing 60 Winona catapults and 5 Wolfgangs?
No? I didn't think so. Still, share the most original/exaggerated thing you've ever done in this game.
ps: if you're not sure if what you've done fits this thread, it does.
I'm wondering if there's a way to unlock everything in the registry and cookbook without having to research every plant and craft every dish. I am aware that there's a file in the Documents folder that has this info and I've seen people mentioning deleting it if you want to reset back to zero, but I'm wondering if there's a way to do the opposite. Is there a command? Or is there some way to edit the file to get everything unlocked?
Would be relieving to have a shortcut like this and it would make sense for survivors to jump this far since they seem to be able to jump further than that in order to board a boat but the worry is if it would enable some cheese and if we would use or care about the cheese for sake of this feature existing.
As we all know, the Rabbit King Cudgel is the horn of the Wrathful Rabbit King, and the Burrowing Horn is the horn of the Benevolent Rabbit King, since both are horns, why can't the Rabbit King Cudgel add a function that can summon portable nests? As a weapon, it is not very good, if it can carry other functions, more people may use it, if it can add fuel to restore durability even better
I know Wormwood already has a skill tree, but I had a cool idea better than "butteflies don't flee" I wanted to share.
Fairly concise
Grow a spare body or a new unique vine plant in farmland, making it as challenging to create as a Meat Effigy or Life Giving Amulet?
On death drops his core gem.
Other survivors can revive him by bring the core to the spare body, add benefit like full restoration, bloom even (otherwise, it seems more bothersome than a Telltale Heart).
The coolest part: Wormwood’s Carrat could be haunted to take control of it and carry the gem to the new body.
Haunting a carrot could turn it into a Carrat."
This can't sound crazy strong in game where Wanda self revives as she does.
Less concise other idea
If the above was implemented then consider follow up idea: Depends what lore path about wormwood's mine we take. Wormwood’s consciousness could reside in the gem, the body, or both, with the gem as the main backup.
In case of last type of residence this idea could be possible for him: suppose Wormwood is in place A (the base) and place B (where Wormwood and a spare body are). Wormwood could leave his gem in the spare body while the old body, carrying items to be delivered, withers away but is anyway only intended to reach place A and die there to deliver items or tend to garden. The player then gains control over the new body, and the items are already in the target area. This mechanism works like teleportation, allowing the player to either return normally or send the old body to deliver items and then “teleport” back.
Maybe even this animation from hamlet for magic flower could be reused. Timestamp 5:29
Wanted to invite everyone to come cheer on their favorite DST gamers tomorrow.
Sunday the 29th at 1pm UTC on DonGiani's Twitch stream Jazzy Games, Eberferatu, INeedANames, and Carrion (formerly known as Porkus) will be going head to head live and we would love for you to join us in the shenanigans.
If you're feeling a little spicy... vote for who you think will win... just for fun.
As an extra bonus, after the tournament is over, Don will be raiding Natallay who will be hosting a DST Boat Racing Tournament... should be pretty wet and wild.
i find a topic about the Rosy Eyebrella as a gift while watching Twitch stram. I missed it but when i check the link, it leads me to the actual bearger vest. I don't see the Rosy eyebrella on the Reward page, nor on the Belonging menu. Can anybody help me ?
Hello everyone,
I'm playing as Wurt and have encountered some questions.
How can I turn a regular Merm into a Shadow Merm early on without them attacking each other? What’s the best strategy to prevent infighting during this process?
What factors influence Merm loyalty duration? Does it depend on the type of food, freshness, or fullness? I’ve tried feeding Dragonpie, which seems to give the longest loyalty duration, but I’m unsure why.
How is Merm loyalty distributed? Is it calculated within a radius of 3 tiles, or is there a limit, like no more than 5 Merms receiving loyalty within a certain range?
What is the intended use of the Skeeter Bomb? Could you provide examples of how to use this item for maximum benefit?
I’ve trapped Merms in fences, but when I travel and come back, they often wander around my base. How can I prevent Merms from teleporting or escaping from their enclosures when I leave the area?
so i wanna try and play as other characters but whenever i do my hand always floats to wes or, if i am in a pub outside of autumn/spring maxwell: what i want from you lot is who you personally think i should try playing!
there are two caveats so that you better understand my situation; i am not looking to rush and i am not that invested in fighting so wanda, wolfgang, wendy and wigfrid are off the table. they are built for fighting so their unique kit is wasted on me. the second is i have ulnar nerve compaction so i had to hang up my holsters on playing wortox. once i was misclicking him more than actually playing the game i put that notion behind me. him, firestaff and lazy explorer are bffs in the closet now X''D
all others are viable options though! just tell me why you personally enjoy the character and what fun/interesting thing that character can do to help me decide who to bring in on my next world. don't worry if your reason is niche or unusual or way too personal, my choice is gonna be vibes-based
It cannot be put in the salt box, cannot be refreshed by using salt, cannot be put inside Polar Bearger Bin, I don't know... The Polar Bearger Bin I can understand, but why can't we salt our jerky? Or put it inside the salt box??
All video & gif below are based on a world without cave, mods, net lag. And lag compensation is OFF.
The giant worm is just a thing for showing how ppl do enjoy gloating. Because most ppl don't care about how other players feel about this worm when they have different play-style.
In fact we all know it's easy to completely avoid this "boss" with many method. You could just run out of this boss fight then nothing could do bad influence to you. But this cannot prove that the giant worm is a good designed mob.
Now please check my video. It shows that you could kill the giant worm with only 1 speed-boost item (eg. cane) + 1 weapon THEORETICALLY, just like how I did in the video before 14s. But for most ppl the game has generally lag - My video is based on a world without CAVE and MODs (only T mod for testing). In most generally game play, you can't do same thing as my video to fight the giant worm with "avoiding, go close the boss and hit 3 times, avoiding, loop" because of the cave lag, the server lag and others.
And when there's generally lag, The AOE effect - that "wave" of the giant worm when it head in/out of the ground - would be not able to dealt with. That "wave" AOE would hit you by its unreasonable range and slow your next action.
Even you are enough lucky to avoided those ground wave AOE, when you switch your weapon/cane, there's a randomly delay which would makes you frequently failed to get close to the worm head in time - then you loss the chance to hit the worm head safely.
Ofc I know there's an officially method to dealt with this giant worm by feeding it many items. But this method SHOULD NOT be the only method to kill the worm with your own character. As an early game boss, it SHOULD have a method to kill without massive item loss. Also there's another fact that the giant worm would appear in every area (including the ancient orchestrina room), and not every area has enough items for current giant worm fight.
Besides, the whole AOE hitbox effect of the giant worm is broken as well. Let us highlight this period of my video -
Could any "giant worm lover" can explain this gif for telling us why giant worm is a good reasonally boss?
Also the giant worm is a boss which has chance to appear at day 26 (very early game) but could easily one-shot log-suit Wilson. Considering Charlie would attack you when there's no light while you are moving "under" the giant worm (the swallowing would have chance to make you out of your light), the swallow combo would dealt more ridiculous damage to a full-armed character on early game.
