Blind Box Figs Removed from Shop?

I hope this is the right thread and sorry if this is old news, I rarely get on anymore, but did the blind box figs get removed from the shop? I just went to look because I used to customize them a lot and there aren't really any on eBay rn, but it looks like they're not listed anymore : ( Too bad because I wanted to finally put aside some money to buy a big pack of them hoping to do some newer skins I really like :|

A thread like this existed before but I'm afraid it fell deep into the archive, so here is a new one. You can post funny, odd and terrible pictures that you made while playing DST.

Love this one because it looks like as if the third bunny from the right (not counting the bunny behind the hut) is throwing the small bunny.

My dear Wolfgang managed to trap himself while being sane and of course I mocked him by taking a screenshot and weeks later finding myself trapped in this too while being sane.

How does farming work in the caves?

Is there any difference?

I know you need to put it somewhere that has daylight, but I'm especially curious about how the preferred seasons work down there. Can I go to the caves in Summer and grow summer crops in the caves as if they were in the surface?

Hi, sorry for the formatting, I have no clue how to adjust line spacing from the toolbar

Title says it all. When I subscribe to any mods, including random mods being released in the past week, and enter the game to view them I am shown a constant pop up of how I don’t have any mods installed and my only option is to either leave the mod menu or quit the game. I’m not sure if this is a game/steam/personal system issue, but any help would be appreciated.

Things I’ve tried so far:

Reinstalling the game/steam

Restarting computer

Changing steam download location

Clearing steam download cache

Verifying file integrity

Removing any workshop/mod related files in my game files

Resubscribing to the mod

 

 


A trash can needs to be implemented

Not only it helps you dispose those annoying 1% helmets, it also will help the server reduce lag, for having less trash items to be loaded. For now the only way you can dispose trash is either glitch yourself out of cave map and drop items to the void (but if your base is on surface it will be a pain in the @ss to do so), or feed the trash to lureplant (lureplant won't grow in winter). If you join klei servers with 70+ days, you most likely will find an area full of items like 3% pick axes, spiderhats, top hats, tentacle spikes, ... that noone will ever use again

i have no cross spots right now. I got only 1 treasure in early game and now it's day 1000 and still no treasures anymore. What's my problem?

While both browsing the forums, and reading through the wiki, I have noticed that the player may use the console to play animations, and I have been wondering if someone had compiled a list of these commands. Here is the thread

I have recently found out that you can play animations on your character using the console, this was the forum thread  , the command was ThePlayer.AnimState:PlayAnimation("sing_fail", false) , is there a list of these console commands compiled together? Do I have to be an admin in order to use these?

What if speed when carrying heavy items varies depending on character

I thought of this idea while I was carrying a marble piece as a Mighty Wolfgang at the same speed as my friend playing Wendy, and I think it would be good to have more things to offer to the team depending of which character you're playing. So I made this to give an idea of how it would be, percentages refers to speed reduction, currently is 85% for every character. What if Maxwell's shadows drained sanity instead of resources?

For about a year I've had this idea but I want to see what you guys think. I play Maxwell a lot, probably my most played character, and he's a ton of fun right now. I think this might be a fun change but there's some people here who seem to be a lot more experienced than me and I'm particularly interested in what they think. I'm also interested in what less experienced players think of this idea, too.

Flint's not particularly hard to get, outside of public servers where people like to disconnect with a stack of it in their inventory, and Maxwell's really good at getting NMF so that cost isn't particularly high either. What if instead of needing to use tools, and possibly even removing the NMF cost as well, Maxwell could freely summon shadows from his Codex Umbra but they had a sanity drain over time and were dispelled if Maxwell reached 0 sanity? It would give more depth to Maxwell's sanity (currently only really a problem in prolonged boss fights) and allow him to be more free in his control over shadows. I constantly see people complain that their shadows automatically do things on their own and they want to be able to turn them off, they don't want to punch the shadows because of the little cost in doing so. If they drained sanity over time instead of resources they wouldn't feel bad about dismissing their shadows anymore.

Maxwell would feel less compelled to need to deforest an entire area if he wants to summon his loggers since the cost of it would be proportional to the time spent. He'd still be able to deforest an entire area, obviously, but maybe he might bring along a little bit of sanity food to do so instead of needing to craft a few axes? It would allow for a less minmaxy and more impromptu Maxwell who can at any moment do any task instead of prepping for one and doing it to the extreme.

Maybe it could even allow for a Shadow Duelist buff, making them less niche and more well-rounded. I think it would be pretty fun to have a more powerful Duelist at the cost of it having a high sanity drain, allowing you to enhance your combat capabilities at the cost of sanity and the potential of them being dismissed if your sanity runs out. Maybe they don't even need a buff, but if you were able to summon them without spending 2 nmf, some flint, some rope, and some twigs people would be more open to using them.

I never specified any numbers and kept everything vague because it's the idea that matters and the numbers and such could be tuned to whatever is balanced. What do you guys think? I think it would make him more interesting but probably not affect how strong he is. The cost isn't really too much currently and Woodie can already get infinity logs for free free, so I don't think Maxwell being able to get infinity logs/rocks/etc for a sanity cost would be busted. I'd love to hear your feedback regardless of how much you play Maxwell. I think it would make him more accessible and more fun while still mostly being the same character, but maybe I'm wrong.

Item Collection Download Failed

Hi, recently I been having troubles with Don't Starve Together. I was going to the item menu, but when I went to the item collection it came up with a message that says "Item Collection Download Failed unfortunately you failed to download your item collection, would you like to try again?" I press yes but then it loads for about two seconds and then shows the same display message, but when I press no it brings me back to the menu. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hound Farm Design (Mod Required)

I want to share my design even that is not the best. Please appraise it. This design has just been thought by me, please tell me if there is the same.
 
My latest semi-automatic design of Hound Farm that requires mod. The mod makes the catapults don't damage the wall. I don't think that is OP or making the game easier as the wall is ally and they shouldn't be damaged the catapult. If they can damage the wall, they should also be capable to damage the statues or players, etc. Other than that, if you only use Statues as barrier the Hounds will consider them as air and they wouldn't avoid it. If you accept having a mod for this, this would be very great as Hounds couldn't find a way to burst into the room of catapults. On the other hand, this requires not very many materials
 
Statues in here are for 100% preventing the Hounds damaging the wall. But after observing the design I think they wouldn't damage it, since they want to enter from water route first. At the same time, this design also prevent them to enter the room from the gap as there is a row of Boat. They jump to the boat but there is not enough space for them to land so they are completely blocked. Those in the water also can't land as not enough space for them. This makes this time being better then my previous designs. Of course, you need a Ice Machine to prevent everything from being burned down.
 
I care the wall as the Hounds can enter the room for attacking the catapult, by breaking the wall.
 
What do you think about this? I would like to hear other design.

Community Choice Vignette - Walter - Constant Companion

Hey all,

Happy new year! It's been a while since we've done the community choice vignette threads, and since then there have been new shorts released. Now that we've caught up adding your choices to the game, it's time for you to nominate and vote on some more!

In case you missed how this works, we’ll post a thread for one of the animated shorts with a link to YouTube, and you can nominate your favorite scene by posting a screenshot. Cast your vote by giving one or more of the nominated scenes an emoji response. After a week we'll tally up the results and add a Vignette based on the winning scene into a future build of the game.

Try to avoid nominating a similar scene to one that's already been posted. We'll remove nominations if we feel they are too similar to an existing nomination or the Vignette we already made, or in the case of shenanigans. (There were definitely shenanigans in the past. Don't nominate in-between frames please )

Up this week is Walter's short. There's going to be some great nominations, I know it!
