Broken Server or 1 in a million odds?
I just started a new server and have noticed some...weird things about it.

So here's the map, I just started the game, so it's not fully unlocked, but you'll notice that the Marsh Area is split in half, and secluded from the rest of the land, those 2 land bridges are the only way in or out. Which is a bit usual, but not all that weird. But you'll notice something else, too.

That's right. The Rocky Biome of the Lunar Island is just chilling by the Pig King. At least part of it. It looks like it's just a patchwork piece like the mosaic biome, but the Lunar Island isn't apart of the mainland.
I looked around and the rest of the lunar island wasn't there, it was just that little fragment piece, nothing else was over there expect some Moon Shards and those eyeball ghost things that want to kill you.
This is only 5 days into the server, I can't wait to see what else I find. But still, is this server broken, or extremely lucky?
Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm not playing with any mods, only things changed are season lengths and added more food. Also, as soon as I posted this I found the Mandrakes in the middle of the beefalo area.

Don't Starve Together - May QOL Update
Hey everybody.
I hope you're all out there doing well. As we mentioned in the last big update, we have moved things around a bit so that the team can have more time for the next update. As a result this update is a bit smaller, but we think you will be happy with the result.
Specifically the team split up for a little bit and took care of some smaller things in the game that we hadn't had time to address but really wanted to get into the game. Some of these are things that have been driving you crazy and some of these are just small changes that we thought would make for a better experience.
In addition to that, we have a bunch of fun stuff to give away. We have new twitch items, login-in rewards, and some Klei rewards news!
First up, the notes:
- Added a new Compendium section to the main menu
- Survivors now have a favorite food, which provides extra nourishment when eaten. Each survivor’s favorite food can be found in the Compendium.
- Added Beards skins
- Caves can be enabled by default

Add more information to the character select screen:
- Starting Health, Hunger, and Sanity
- Starting equipment
- Odds of Survival, to help guide new players
- The game will automatically log in on boot (this can be disabled in the options menu).
- Added Sculpting Table Figures for Toadstool, Bee Queen, Klaus, Antlion and Ancient Fuelweaver
- Revamped the Item Collection screen to display the cast of survivors
- Removed the special item ingredient from a number of the sculpting figures.
- Adjusted the recipes for the Insulated Pack and Marble Suit
- Increased the Thulecite Club's durability
- Bernie is now shown on the map screen
- One of each Marble Sculpture is now guaranteed when generating new worlds
- Updated mods sort order
- Added Unravel Duplicates option to The Curio Loom
- Fixed a crash on the Crab King when it has 5 yellow gems.
- Fixed a bug that allowed Wortox to walk on the void in the Caves

New Login Bonuses!

Klei Rewards!
It's been too long, but we have been working behind the scenes on Klei Rewards since it's introduction. We have made some changes on the page itself and how it's presented, but we also have a new way to grant points! We can now grant points directly from a link, so new announcements and posts may now contain links that will grant points or spool.
We have also added the Hunters Axe to Klei Rewards for 1200 points.
We don't have the "Big pile of Spool" ready just yet, but you can click this link here to get yourself 850 points and maybe pick up something nice for yourself.
Next update!
So, once again we apologize for the hiccup in our update schedule. But the good news is we don't have long to go before the next update! I can't give you details just yet, but our next new DLC character "Walter" will be coming to DST in the middle of June. In just a bit over 2 weeks! I will have more details as we get closer to release. But for now, here is an image from the next short!

I kinda don't want a Wigfrid rework.
Wigfrid has been my main ever since RoG and I'm really worried about this rework.
I love her design. She's fun and easy to play, her carnivore diet offers her a unique challenge and play-style, she's viable for end game situations, her weapon and amour make her useful for teams, the method acting concept is inventive and uncomplicated...Am I wrong to think she's kinda perfect as she is?
I'm hoping that Klei will surprise me, but I'm really worried that this really wonderful character that I have been playing for years is gonna get completely messed up. Especially after seeing the problems with recent characters like Walter, I'm really concerned.
I genuinely don't think there's any need for it. When Klei announced they were reworking ALL of the characters, I was concerned. I fully support reworking "broken" characters like Winona and Woody, but I don't think there's anything wrong in saying some characters are perfectly fine as they are.
We'll just have to wait and see I guess, but please don't massacre my girl.

Theories on what that cat thing was
For those who don't know, when the new reactions were being added to the forums, there was this creature unused, somehow found by us.
Joew I believe said that it was a still very WIP feature that was canned a long time ago, but I find it extremely interesting that there was apparently a seemingly entirely graphically finished (TAMEABLE!) creature in the game that just never got in.
This leads me to try to think of explanations for what it would've done ingame. I think a possible answer is that it was something that was originally going to be introduced along with beefalo taming/"through the ages" DLC, maybe as a cave-equivalent to beefalo. This is a shot in t he dark, heck it could have been something for RoT for all we know.
I'd love to hear y'all'ses theories on this.

KLEI, game still crashing RANDOMLY.
At first I thought the problem was pickin up honey so i decided to play and never pick Any honey up..... my game crashed... and again! On ANY of my world from the oldest one to the newest.

Odd ideas
Now I always wondered what the DST Characters might sound like I've seen only one person fully do a possible list of clips of voices and huge snips of someone doing a full reading as the character and it's driving me crazy! I am DYING to know the others from pure curiosity! Anyways I don't got a lot of possible ideas but I clipped a song that makes me think of Mr.Skitts, the Shadow that tricked William. It's the one part of the Oogie Boogie song that starts after: "I'd might split a seam if I don't die laughing first!"

What old Twitch Drops would you like to see on Klei Rewards?
I really want these skins added to Klei Rewards: Metamorphosed Flame, The Crystalline Icebox, Radiant Star Caller's Staff, Bone-Chilling Firepit, Glass Eyebrella, Crystallized Cabinet and Salt Box Shaker!

Sea fishing rod using sound effects
Why does the sea fishing rod have special sound effects in a world without caves?
The world with caves cannot hear it.
I have submitted BUG feedback, but no one paid attention to what I said.
Prior to this, the sound effect of opening the wooden box was also different.
Do you think this is a reasonable game setting

I love Wormwood's new "Triumphant" skin, but it's a really bad "Triumphant" skin.
Just like Wurt, his skin has nothing to do with nightmare fuel or shadows outside of it being a "dark/creepy skin".
Every other triumphant skin follows an obvious motif, deep black, with lots of spiked points or curls, with white lines running through, typical shadow related stuff. WX being a slight exception, but his general design follows still follows the pattern well considering his VERY different design from the rest of the regular cast.
But Wormwood and Wurts skins don't follow this motif at all, they don't look like they are influenced by the fuel at all.
You can look at every other skin in the bunch and immediately recognize that they are a matching set, but I seriously doubt anyone could do the same for Wurt and Wormwood if they weren't aware of what "The Triumphant" skins were.
I hereby petition that the name should be changed to preserve lore and consistency.

I still don't have my drop, I log in everyday... I checked the inventory, beard section, and transaction. I saw it in my transaction history but it's not in the game at all.
