Don't starve together - Steam awards 2016
Hi starving fellows, did you know? Don't starve together is finalist for the steam awards 2016, in the category "best with friends"...
and that's all, I just wanted to came here and say congratulations klei. These are not like the videogame awards where the indie games have their own category, this ones are selected by us, the players, and that's what really matters. I'm happy because I always play this game and say: "this game is so good, why the people don't even know that exist?, why this game isn't popular?", now I see how popular really is, how many people play it, I see how much has evolved since the single player and how good was designed when 3 or 4 players come to my server, everyone from a different country speaking a different language and we can still playing without problems.
I see the effort and dedication in every detail of the game since 2012 and I can not be more satisfied with the final result, did you expect a success like this?, how it feels to know that your game is that good and popular?, Im not telling that the other finalist are bad, I love most of them, but I think DST have everything to win.
Congratulations again Klei team!, I wait great things from you

Crash Don't Starve Together
Hello, I don't know if anyone else encountered this problem. I from Poland and of two days I hear and I have contact with this problem. Namely, while playing DST, game can be crash. The problem isn't modification just suddenly get the message "don't starve steam exe doesn't work". Do other players from different countries have this problem? Irritating is when I play / we play and we have to repeat lost time.

The DST Tips n' Tricks Thread!
Just thought it'd be fun to have a whole thread focused on the little things you're so used to doing you usually don't even notice anymore.
So in this thread, we all reply with one of our tips n' tricks for new (or old) DST players! I'll start:
- Lureplants have smoldering priority, so if you only have enough materials for 1 ice flingomatic by summertime, you can build the flingomatic on your farms, and place the lureplant within it's range to prevent your base from burning (I've been doing this for 5 summers now)
- If you plant a Lureplant next to a pond surrounded by turf it cant make it's eyeplants on and keep it safe from frogs till it blooms, you can make the frog make the lureplant drop it's leafy meat, causing it to regenerate more in a few seconds. If you don't heal the lureplant while it's being repeatedly licked by the frog, you can get 9 leafy meats. More if you actually heal the lureplant while it's being licked.
So please share your DST tips and tricks here! You never know, there may be something other people don't know that you do...

Free Copy in IOS?
I'm a huge fan of Don't Starve features and its uniqueness. I already brought a whole bundle of it in Steam, just wondering if I can get it free on IOS. In my opinion: players should be able to download it on platforms they wish do play in as long as they purchase the legit copy and its content. I know I'm asking a lot more than the game cost itself, I just want to ask for opinions and of course share mine.

Does Klaus' loot bag respawn?
Im getting ready to kill him and i heard he can drop a random boss drop, so im thinking this might make the Ancient Guardian horn renewable, if its on the drop table. But i first wanted to see if anyone knows if his bag respawns after you open it? or he is a one time boss like the ancient Guardian?

This should become a real show after all the games are done!
This I find to be really well made. A bit of a downer with the slow frame-rate and the fact that the camera changing mod(s) don't provide a background for the game, but other than that, the video's great. Really, Klei, give us a cartoon after you're done with it in terms of games, I'm sure people would love it. May be it'll become a hit on Cartoon Network if you put episodes there, who knows? Either way a series or a movie would be cool... preferably a cartoon series 
Regardless, just wanted to share this with the forum, if it hasn't been already.

DST LOGIN SERVER CONNECTION ISSUE (Ukraine)
We are aware of an ongoing problem with Don't Starve Together players in Ukraine not being able to connect to our servers. We are looking into this currently, however, we will need more information from users affected in order to be able to debug this issue.

Low FPS on DST
Not sure where to go for technical support
I've been away from DST for some time.
the only changes is that I am now on windows 10
I am only getting 13 FPS on menu and 20~25 FPS in game.
Any ideas? or anything I need to provide?
Have tried, Vsync, Triple buffering (Nvidia Geforce Settings) but no effects.

Please consider to improve voting system
Today, I've been playing dst on an official server with other 7 random people. Everything was going pretty good, we made big base, have plenty of food, get ready for winter, spring and summer. After that 2 guys left, 1 guy died and decided to leave to game, 2 guys went for dinner, so there're only 3/8 people left in the server. Suddenly 3 random new guys joined and vote to kick one of us, 3 vs 2 (can't vote to yourself), so he got kick. They keep voting till all of us got kicked. Then they vote to regenerate new world. All hard work has gone... and we can't join after got kicked.
After the world got reset, they left!! what!?!?
I don't mind if they reset and play and start their own new life, I'm ok to start my new life with them. This thing keep happening everyday. I've been playing this game since it was in beta and seen many good ppl complain in game and disappear.
I would like to suggest to put more condition for people to be able to vote such as survive for 5 days+ or have 200 hrs+ playtime or whatever that you think it will be able to fix this.
Hope you consider about this and improve voting system for good dst community!

Private server says people joined and left without any actual people?
So... I was bored so i decided to make a private server. It was just me then i saw notifications saying 2 guys left. I was like "dafuq". I wasn't playing with nobody at the time. After a few more minutes it showed this.

More specific world configuration
If I put "less" on rain because I want less rain, it rains around 3 times per 4 seasons, and only in spring. If I put more clockworks because after 60 days I can only find a couple gears, I can hardly move without seeing a clockwork. If I put more Goose/Goose, than there are 3 in the first 20 day long spring of my world.
Basically, you go the whole nine yards or not at all.
I feel there should be advanced world settings for players who want a more personalized experience. If I'm playing with two other people, I may want more enemies and more food to balance it out, but "Default", "More", and "Lots" and huge jumps from each other. I think this is most necessary for length of seasons and days. I can't find a mod that does this, and it would probably be better as an official feature with all the changes going on right now.

How big should tooth trap fields be?

I have finally started shying away from the beefalo (a bit too far and hounds show up earlier).
I used my hound teeth to build a basic tooth trap field. What i want to know, is how big it should be.
I have seen massive, screen wide, perfectly arranged fields and they looked a bit too much.

Ive been playing dont starve for some time on the pc with reign of giants and I really enjoyed it.
Now Im playing dont starve together with my little brother and I got some question about content.
Is the whole reign of giants dlc in the dont starve together version? If not wich parts are not included?(roughly)
Is the whole a new reign update released in the console version? If not when will it be?
Im sorry for bothering you all, I have been trying to find out about it myself but to no avail.
