I was playing dst, but a bug striked me. I tried to fight the moose goose: it made the hit animation, but the moose goose did not take any damage / did not made the animation of a boss getting hit. I have no mods, I am the host and my internet connexion / computer are both stable. I am not the only one experiencing this, other people have posted this. Klei, please fix this bug as quickly as possible, having a cool boss that cannot be fight is really frustrating and I lost a world because of that.

I really loved the new way to play Wendy but there are two things that REALLY BOTHER ME:
First: Damage Penalty
- At 150 HP abigail has 20 damage, but does 12 against 2+ monsters.
For real, allow her to do 20 base damage against everything with no penalty. That is really annoying. Before the rework, Wendy gameplay was more like "Sister helping Sister", now it feels like "You do it or i do". It's strange to work together with Abigail now, she only does damage if you risk yourself, and by doing that you can't help her. And if you're safe Abigail is mostly useless, she has no damage and only can do something by getting all the aggro and getting attacks, and here is where my second wish comes in:
Second: CHANGE the Defense Elixir.
It's totally pointless to use it against hordes and even other monsters, for real. I was comparing many fights using it and she took the same amount of damage always, dying even faster than when i used Thorns, the thing is, with Thorns she actually killed them, and didn't died in the process.
To actually be useful in fights, change it's effect to give Abigail 65/70% defense like an armor, so Wendy and Abigail can work together killing hordes and even BOSSES.
i DID tested out both Elixirs in use, and the Defense wasn't doing ANYTHING worth of using it. It didn't even was looking like it worked.
Please Klei, consider doing these changes, even if you need to change something here or there, but change it. It feels almost unviable to play Wendy now, even "rilled up" effect feels bad now. She killing everything was doing really well, it helped Wendy to farm stuff safely and start fights safely.
You did so well with new Bernie and new Woodie transformations, but looks like you're failing with Wendy. Why? I don't want to lose all the fun i have playing with her because of that.
Really hope these wishes didn't get confusing. It's really not being funny using Wendy like that comparing to before, at least if these changes don't get applied.

*Additional notes:
- Bernie: 2000 HP + 50 base damage against EVERYTHING. Can be sewed and no level to lose.
- Requirements: Get insane.
- Willow: No damage penalty in the character itself so you can use Bernie's damage + yourself with any weapon.
I know Wendy's proposal is to have a different gameplay and Abigail isn't any fighter, but c'mon... These aren't all the problems that this rework has but just by changing that could make everything BETTER. Most of it. All the team that worked on it was really creative on the gameplay changes, but the stats got too deplorable.
Give back Abigail's 10/20/40 damage and change the Elixir or just fix the Defense Elixir, remove the 2+ monsters penalty AND (optional, but would be nice) give Abigail +5 damage per level, totaling 30 at level 3 if possible so Wendy and Abigail can work together again, without any penalty against hordes. No need to change the 60 damage at 1 Hp If these changes actually happen. Finally, it would be considerable to stack up to 2 elixir effects, considering her current situation (At least the life regen with others, like REGEN + Thorns or REGEN + movespeed and REGEN + others elixirs). This is all just my idea and, thankfully, other people who love playing with the character. Please consider at least her damage penalty.
Extra: Please also check the damage elixir, it is very strange that the increase is in percentage. Add a standard amount.

Having more characters - With a new turn on unlocking them...
Okay I have something nice to unravel today, it's an idea I had from a long time but this thread of @ShadowDuelist got me thinking about that once more and I decided to discuss over it :
We're gonna talk about a new way to have more unlockable characters without conflicting with the actual system, skin friendly, progress related and allowing the game to improve on its gameplay capacities. Let's get to it. (at the end... you know me)
Recall :
So you see, the character unlocking systems of Don't Starve Together and the stand-alone are quite different :
- On DST, you have all of the characters from the start and 3 (with a 4th one later) that you unlock on the client side with spools. Start a game, pick whoever you want, nothing more simple !
- As for the stand-alone, you have to get XP while playing to unlock ALL other characters, with some exceptions such as Webber, Wes, Maxwell, etc... who require in-game events to be unlocked.
But the two of them however have a similar effect on the unlock : you keep the characters for ever (as long you don't unravel them on DST )
Nothing big, you'll tell me. Why would you unlock a character if it is to play it once and then lose it. What ? Warbucks ? I don't know that name... Well, it's not exactly what I'm telling...
Limitation Problem :
Now, why is that related to the topic linked on top ? Just look at the pools, the community is kinda puzzled on "should we have more characters?", so far there is no majority and it's quite understandable cause a new character is all about making it useful for the multiplayer aspect, having a role to play, balancing, meta structure and other very intense stuffs, irk ? We're not talking on this for now.
Anyway, everyone can agree that the game's crew is getting pretty large, the confusion only start when we suggest having more of what we already have to deal with. Which is kinda funny since it only works for characters. The players, me included, never decline having more content on the other aspect of the game : on mobs, biomes, seasons...
So it seems that new characters may be welcome when they serve the new content of the game to make it richer, like the sea and the Moon Island. We just have to look at how many threads are about adding SW characters to DST cause they're now relatable. But this is a slow process, we're gonna have to wait for very significant updates on wide area to add one new character, there must be a way to add more reliably... here it is !

Okay I've made you wait for long enough... What's the most friendly way to have more characters to the game without flooding it ?
I've discussed on this with some friends, and the nicest way at the moment to me seems to be an admixture of what was the system of Don't Starve with events unlockable characters but server-sided on DST !
What do that means ? Basically, you will still have all the standard survivors of the game at the Florid Postern but the next ones added to the game will have to be unlocked after you trigger an event on The Constant (such as it used to be with Wilbur, Woodlegs, etc...) with long process strategies on each servers you play on.
So you can't have them from the very start, making those characters to be late-game or accessible only when they're gonna be useful according to their main abilities, we can imagine some Caves/Ruins sided characters with this system since you won't use them at their full potential when you start.
On the operating part in-game on how you pick the unlocked character, it could simply be a gateway that spawn after completing the event, using it will display a HUD like with the wardrobe so you can decide your skins and instantly switch to the said character, maybe doing such could also unlock it for the Celestial Portal, but it may depend of who.
This could allow the game to implement more hardcore or even "meme" play-style characters that have a bigger impact for yourself without conflicting with public-server for other players who want to play without carrying someone that cannot survive by itself at the start. Wes is (at now, we'll see with the rework) maybe the only exception but many think he's fine.
Theoretically, this could make the game exploits more advanced powers for players cause they cannot be rushed to get benefits out of it that fast, keeping the balance and figure out what to do next in the game developments with the new possibilities.
That's it for today I hope you like the idea and maybe figure out something to improve it. I didn't wanted to give character ideas but only on how to get them to open a new field of view for the game, but feel free to tell if you have character ideas.

Here is where you share what you confess to be something you're guilty of. For example, one of the smaller things I'm guilty of is that I never fought the shadow pieces or fuelweaver ever; with a larger confession being that I never got past day 162 ever because I keep resetting worlds.
How to survive automn for begginers
In dst, a lot of dangers are waiting in the shadows to strike new players. Even in the first season, autumn, hunger, hounds and sanity are waiting to find the right moment to kill you. The first paragraph talks about early days, the second about hunger, the third about hounds and the fourth one, sanity. So here are a few tips to help you survive those dangers:
-For the first day, I suggest you get as much grass, twigs, flints and berries as possible. When the night comes, craft a torch and explore the world, following its edge, to be more efficient. Keep doing this until you have explored most of the world. If you see important ressources (that are needed) in the way, try to collect them.
-For hunger, they are a few things you can do. First, try to get yourself a shovel and get around 20-30 plantations of berries. For the poop you will need to get them fertilized, you can either give berries or carrots to pigs or use beefalos. Then, there is also a very rewarding thing: bee boxes. They give tons of food, and by tons, I mean like stacks of honey in just a few days. To get yourself bee boxes, you will need silk in order to craft yourself 3 bug nets. In order to kill spiders safely, you have a few options, but only one is available to all characters and safe for beginners: use traps to capture spiders. Then, get to an area with a lot of bees and capture the yellow ones. Then, hit the nests of red bees if possible (or the yellow ones if they are no nests that are for red bees). Go away from those little monsters and then run into them. After that, you will have enough time to hit the nest a few times. Rince and repeat until the nest is destroyed.
-To deal with hounds, you can follow this dodge and hit pattern: when you see the hound running to you for for the first attack, dodge, then hit him once or twice, depending on your skill level. When they are to many hounds, burn one with a torch so you can fight them 1 by 1. Make sure to do this in an empty space, otherwise fire can spread and destroy your base or a forest.
-For sanity, try to get yourself some green mushrooms: when they are cooked, they give a massive +15 sanity! Make sure to avoid picking up all flowers, because they are the reason there is butterflies. If you kill a butterflies, and eat its wings, you get +8 health. Lastly, a top hat is made of 6 silk: it is a good long term solution, because it negates the lost of sanity from being in the dark.

Should Klei update characters' portraits?
Warly received a new portrait when he entered dst. The reason behind this is unknown (at least to me) but I did like this decision.
I think it'd be neat if Klei were to update characters' portraits, preferably after they're reworked. It'd give each character a bit of developement. As in the singleplayer portraits are them being new to the Constant and dst's ones them getting used to living in the Constant. Not in a 'Survivor' set fashion of course
For example in singleplayer Wilson is shown experimenting on a dead chicken. In dst he could be walking somwhere dragging a dead chicken behind him, with a face of a broken man. In singleplayer we see Wx-78's blueprint cuz they were just created by Wagstaff. In dst however they are free and can do as they please so Wx-78 could be shown standing menacingly somwhere.
Even if you don't like this idea Klei then please at least update Webber's portrait so he doesn't have hands. Most of other skins and animations show him with spider leg/claws, while the original shows him with hands.
Antlion weremoose fight showcase
The fight was quite the schnozz (hard) not gonna lie.
Pros: no fight preperation needed. 240 summer insulation during the fight. High protection and damage as weremoose.
Cons: There is no turning back (must complete the fight or else die), no healing during weremoose, limited visibility, 90% movement speed.
Summer will never be an issue again!
In DST, summer is by far the most annoying season you will have to deal with. Overheating, wild fire, all crops dying, and so many other reasons make this season a real annoyance to deal with. However, there is something that completely negates summer's bad effects: the caves! While in the caves, there is no overheating and no wild fire. This is why the best way to deal with summer is by far spending it into the caves. Not only do you get all of the caves goodies, but in addition, you avoid wasting a whole season doing nothing. For those who never thought about it, give it a try!

Hello. I just want to know if your world hasn't been fully explored, are there some structures like the Gigantic Beehive or Walrus Camp that have a chance to not spawn or will they always spawn al least one in each world? If you have any answers for these generations, please let me know.

Why is rain cold damage so sudden?
In dst, I find it stupid that cold caused by the rain is just slightly broken: why do players not get the warning that they are cold (by the screen turning blue on the edges before starting taking damage)? This is not realistic, as in real life, before getting hypotermia you would feel like your to cold, and also not fun because taking damage like that without any warning is meh. And you, do you think this should be fixed?
CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE?
Hello, I'm not new to Don't Starve together, I'm just new to the modes. I discovered some new client and server modes. I used them and It ran perfectly, but after that my all modes just disappeared and in "server Modes" showed some "workshop dowloading" when I wanted to update it, it didn't work. I tried to subscribe those mods again and my "client Modes" file was empty. Please help me how to delete or restart it. My english isn't that good, sorry.

Edit world settings tumbleweeds after generation?
How would I be able to edit the amount of tumbleweeds in a world already generated? I tried hitting the tilda key [~] and typing TheWorld.topology.overrides.tumbleweed = "always" and hitting enter. Then I left the server to check the settings on the .lua and in the game settings but it still says 'default'. I don't think it worked? If anyone could help me out, thanks!

5 beekeeper hats, 30 pierogi, 1 Hambat, 5 spectral cure-all (4 maybe)
Pros: no arena preperation, easy crafts, less then a stack of healing food.
Cons: Active pipspook assisting (in order to get the recipes for 5 spectral cure-all), death of abigail in-battle can lead to failure.
Looks like the wendy abigail rework is quite op
heal yourself only if you can get killed by the bee queen in the next attack but make sure if she will call grumble bees in her next move so you dont die.
make sure abigail has the agro on the grumble bees. heal her at 300 health by applying the spectral all-cure on the flower or onto herself if she is next to you.
if the bee queen is screaming to boost the grumbles make sure you are attacking the bee queen and abigail being next to you at the same time.
