Will Hallowed Nights have Better Trade Inn Drops?

I asked this on the Wurt/Hallowed Nights information post earlier, but I haven't seen any reply. I've been holding on to a bunch of skins in hopes that this might be the case, so I'm really hoping to get rid of them soon.

Personally, I feel as if WX-78 or Maxwell should be looked at next. WX-78 is semi-evil, and the whole vibe from RoT would fit his new balance. Maxwell needs a new set of powers and why not introduce them during the Return of Them. It would fit around his lore, since he is probably the closest character to Them besides Charlie. He was on the throne after all.

Still can’t buy Wurt on PS4 Oceanic

We use two account on the same oceanic PlayStation and neither have the option to buy Wurt or any of the hallowed stuff. Wurt is on the main page as the picture but still not on our store. we have tried resetting PlayStation and game to no avail. Is there any information or fixes for this?

Alright, I have to start out by saying.......

 

Passionate Klei: Klei you are by far the most passionate and caring game developers I have ever seen. I will be exploring old post back in 2017, and you will be helping singular people with  very small minutte problem. LIKE WOW! I have never seen a game company care so much for individual people in my entire life. All companies are just there for the money. Or when they do help it's for reputation. You do it because your nice and kind, and you guys really care about your community. 

Game Updates: Now this one is also amazing. Everything you have done for the DST, Griftlands, Hot Lava, etc is amazing..... but I'm going to focus on DST.... Alright so a year ago the game had quite a few problems, and a lot of people complaining (But to be fair people complaining is just going to exist) You fixed almost all of it. You listened to the community. WOW! AGAIN! You guys are truly amazing. I'm so proud of what you guys have become over this past year. Everytime I see a DST ad on Youtube I get happy, excited, (ALL OF THE  ABOVE ON THE HAPPY EMOTIONS LIST) It just excites me. I think, "Wow, Klei has really come so far, done so much. I'm so proud of them." AND YET YOU CONTINUE! NIce job Klei for everything you have done.

The Devs: THE DEVS!!!! I LOVE ALL THE DEVS!!!! They are so nice, they know exactly what to do, and say when we are all angry. I appreciate everything everyone of you guys do. Thank you. They are always fixing problems that other Game Companies wouldn't even blink at..... Wow..... Whether it be a corrupted world, maybe lossing all your skins, or just not being able to access something. You jump right on it. THANK YOU ALL!!!!

Overall: You guys are amazing, I've been wanting to create a forum post about how awesome you guys are, because you deserve it. The people who are bashing you guys and being mean..... go away...... Constructive critisism exist! ANYWAY I love all of you, you deserve every bit of love you have gotten. I love the animations (SHOUT OUT TO THE ANIMATION TEAM WHOOP WHOOP!), I love the devs (YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!), and The game developers themselves (I love DST btw it's an amzing game thank  you for this god send of a game), You guys rock thank you for everything

 

To the CEO of Klei: Be proud of what you created, what has birthed from the exsistence of the best game developing company in the world. Be proud of what you ALL have acomplished. Be proud..... (I KNOW I SURE AS HECK AM) Thank you for all you have done.... And if possible remind your teamhow awesome they are.

Trying to find out all the things you can mutate using the new Lunar Experiment

With the halloween update Klei added to the Mad Scientist Lab "Lunar Experiment" which gives you steeped lunar essence.Now using this essence allows you to mutate entities from the normal constant into lune island plants/animals.

So far I've found out you can turn: Carrots into Carrat

                                                       Flowers into Lune trees

                                                       Saplings into Lune island saplings

                                                       Butterflies into Moths

                                                       Dragon fruits into Salamanders

                                                       Hounds into Horror hounds

                                                       Pengulls into Moonrock pengulls

                                                       Spiders into Shattered spiders

and that's it for now, if someone else manages to find what turns into Anenemy or Stone fruit bushes I would be very interested in what that is. So far I've tried turning tooth traps, bramble traps(the one wormwood makes),bee mines, bird traps and normal traps into the Anenemy and for the Stone fruit bushes I tried normal bushes, the tropical variant of the berry bushes, banana trees and juicy berries.

They all look really good and I dont know which one to weave. Imo the Triumphant/Shark one looks the coolest but its not colorful and interesting to look at for a couple of hours at a time.

Survivalism Mode - A brutal, carefully-balanced modded twist on vanilla survival

Looking for something to put your survival skills to the test, rather than just your building talents or boss memorizations? Maybe you've finished exploring all of the added content? Maybe you're playing alone and want to push your own limits, or else you want to see if your group strategy is up to snuff? Or maybe you just want to see who can survive the longest in a trying circumstance? If any of this sounds familiar, here's the game mode for you!

To begin, you'll need to configure (Host) a new world with the following settings (tl;dr: most settings set to Less):

    1. Flowers, Evil Flowers: Less
    2. Grass: Less
    3. Saplings: Less
    4. Tumbleweeds: Less
    5. Flint: Less
    6. Boulders: Less
    7. Mini Glaciers: Less

Mods required (and their configs):

  1. No Ice As Filler - No more (nearly) free winter meatballs.
  2. Recipe Rebalancer (or else if you prefer, Recipe Balancer Overhaul) - Tweaks crockpot recipe values, in particular nerfs meatballs. Fishsticks and Pierogis have reduced healing, also.
  3. Survivalism - Assorted difficulty tweaks. You'll need to modify the config to enable these two settings:
    1. Fatigue: true - When certain stats are below 20% speed will become sluggish.
    2. Wet Rolls: true - Straw and fur rolls can't be used when water-logged/wet.
  4. Working Body Heat - Despite the name, you'll want to modify its behavior with this tweak (hunger only; the default):
    1. Heat/hit: Negligible - No longer gives heat for doing work.
  5. Disable World Regrowth - Similar to RoG/SW/Ham, world growths are not automatically renewable, and some sense is needed to not totally expend local resources.

Optional (flavor) mods; use at your discretion:

  1. Scaling Boss Difficulty - Adjusts bosses, either to be harder or else less annoyingly tedious to kill (your preference).
    1. Recommended: Reduce each value by 1 or 2 button clicks, unless you're playing this with lots of people who know what they're doing.
  2. Show Me (Origin) - Displays stats on monsters, foods, tools, etc. Recommend these settings tweaks (feel free to add your own):
    1. Food Style: Short
    2. Show Food Units: Yes
  3. Better blood-over - Shows a bloody overlay if you're low on health.
  4. Smarter Crock Pot - Takes all the magic and wonder out of blinding throwing away ingredients guessing at recipes without a wiki, an open spreadsheet, or else a million hours to expend at trial and error.
  5. Wormhole Icons [Fixed] - Labels matched wormhole sets by color. There may be other (better) mods for this function, but I haven't researched them fully.
  6. Caloric Countdown - Gradually increases hunger drain over time. Use this mod if you're not fighting for an endless survival state, but instead just want to see how long you last against ever increasing odds. Or maybe you think you can build up enough to survive against even starvation itself? Recommended setting (feel free to tailor):
    1. Hunger Growth Rate: Logrhythmic

Untested mods (in consideration; testing help is appreciated):

  1. Thirsty for Tea - Adds a 4th stat to look out for: Thirst. I haven't gotten to play it yet, but this was recommended by CaptainChaotica.
  2. Actual Season Length Randomizer - "Causes season lengths to shuffle every year to give the true random season length experience." Also haven't yet tried it, but recommended by CaptainChaotica.
  3. Guarded Pig King [DST] - Makes the pig king a little less of a freebie.
  4. Hardermode rebalance public Delta HIATUS. - Assorted "hard" tweaks (and some nerfs, including major ones) to further brutalize your experience. May make some of the required mods redundant.

 

Brutal Mode

Does this still seem too soft? The following settings tweak will force you to plunge into the deep dark earth to fight cave spiders for your silk. No cheap and easy spider nest grinding to your heart's content. Note: Webber may negate this; recommend avoiding him, or else just his spider nests.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed missing symbols in Wurt’s idle animation.
  • Fixed missing inspecting Wurt strings.
  • Fixed controller focus issues in the Shop.
  • Fixed Curio Collector’s voice from playing infinitely.
  • Fixed cutoff issues with Wurt’s head when wearing hats.
  • Fixed Merms not attacking players who invade their territory
  • Merm king dialog should now show up on the client
  • Fixed miscellaneous crashes when the Royal Carpet was destroyed

Hey! Not sure when exactly it was added but just want to let everyone know that the Cyclum Puzzle and Metheus Puzzle is now available on both PS4 and Xbox. Tragic Torch, Ancient King's Chest and Ancient Cane are of course the rewards for completing them.

Any unknown mechanic to share?

Do you know any game mechanic that could not be very popular, you use for your advantage and could let us know?

For example: If you feed a pig x4 monster meat and kill it, you get 2x meat and 1x pig skin; two out of three ingredients to prototype hambat, also, you can repeat the process to get pig skin without destroying pig houses.

Cannot build walls as tightly as before?

Please see this picture, does anyone notice the change? I don't know if it's just for me, but I'm surprised none (afaik) mentioned it:

Before, at the red plus (that I marked), I could build any kind of wall there. But how, some of you may ask? Well, simply drag your wall from the nearby "green" plus into the "red" plus and the wall will show "Build Wall" sign, and right-click (the wall still shows red, but you could put a wall there, interesting?). Any time the "Build Wall" text appears, we can build a wall there (not always successful if the position is too tight tho). I enjoyed this very much because it helped me build neat, beautiful projects. But not anymore...

Since the last updates (may be RoT), I cannot put a wall there, the "Build Wall" text does not appear :shock:. Anyone know how to fix this? If any devs read this, I hope they could explain the change. Thank you.

KLEI promised 4 new characters for Don't Starve Together. 

1. Wortox - brand new character 

2. Wormwood - new character for DST, but from Hamlet

3. Warly - new character for DST, but from Shipwrecked

4. Wurt - brand new character 

Question: this all 4 new charactres for DST or Wormwood and Warly not included in 4 new characters???

Wurt last new character or not???

We Don't Need Any more Reworks

So I don't want to be controversial, but I really hope that Woody is the last rework.

Willow, Winona and Woody were the three characters that the community (mostly) agreed were broken or inadequate or just boring. 

The rest of the characters are fine, if not, perfect. I've seen people say Wendy needs a rework, but I think people are saying that because they expecting that a rework for all the characters is inevitable. It isn't. There's a lot of Wendy fans who really don't want a massive change. Sure, she's not the most OP fighter character ever, but not every character has to be. Then there's Wilson, who I strongly think should be left untouched because he's the Vanilla character, he's not meant to be special. 

As a Wigfrid main, I'll be so disappointed if they change her. I think other OG characters like Wolfgang and Wickerbottom are perfect and shouldn't be touched. I maybe wouldn't mind some additions (like maybe another book for Wickerbottom), but it seems that if characters get reworked, it's never just some minor tweaks, Klei seems to always go all out...And in theory that should be a good thing, but it really isn't. For example, all people wanted with Woody was for the Werebeaver to be fun to play and useful. Instead, Klei went all out and made these goose and moose mechanics, which to be fair are beautiful, but they ended up just causing more problems and they still aren't addressing the basic issue.

I think Klei should focus on small details instead...So if you are gonna rebalance Wigfrid, just add the ability to eat butterflies. That's all we want. 

What constitutes a weapon?

So i am asking this to see what people would constitute as a weapon in game  for the character to use.

I am doing this because i want to do a world where i can not use "weapons" But i need to constitute what a weapon is considering each character has their own ways around this clause.

But just for clarification I would consider a weapon as anything that does damage beyond the characters initial default damage

what other stipulations should apply?

Is the starter pack 2019 worth it?

I've been wanting to get wurt ever since she got released but i only have 800 spools and i dont know how long it might take until i get enough. I've just realized there's the 2019 starter special pack in the store and it contains both wurt and other skins that i dont have. For 5 euros i honestly think it's worth it. What do you think? (btw is the 60% off going to go away any time soon?)
