Me and my friends played DST for a couple of hours yesterday and when i went to start up the server today the world was set to day 1. The game saves every day so i dont understand how the whole world can just reset. We were already in winter and had a great set up.  I would appreciate any help on this problem. I literally have no clue what happened to the world as this has never happened to me before. 

After looking around in some of the files i found the chat logs from last world and it even goes up to the point where the server shutdown, if this is the case i feel like the world should have a save somewhere\

I'm a main Wendy & Abigail and I always have their last name.

Reasoning, I came to find out: Maxwell is called William Carter for the registry office.

We know, from a letter sent to him by his brother, who had a brother: Jack Carter. We know that Jack was thrilled to be in America and that their mother, who remained overseas, had not yet seen the twins, presumably her daughters. Now, it does not take a genius to figure out which twins he is referring to, since there are only two in the Do not Starve universe: they are clearly Wendy & Abigail.

But if Wendy & Abigail are Jack's daughters, and Jack's surname is Carter ... their full names are Wendy Carter & Abigail Carter, latest carter ramps from the Carter family, grandchildren of William Carter, Maxwell! And that explains why Wendy finds Maxwell familiar. He does not recognize him because he was too young to remember his uncle clearly, but some vague reminiscence makes her understand that he is not a stranger!

Hi ,

There's alot of stuff on the Klei store that appeal to me. Though some of the stuff are currently "out of stock" and they are since quite a while now. For exemple the DT shirt (in most sizes), spider plush, calico chester plush, etc.

I was wondering if those item were to come back at some point ? Im not really into a specific date, but knowing that they will come back at some point would be fun ! Thanks in advance for the answers

The first Character Update for Don't Starve Together is coming next week on March 7th!

Winona has been hard at work since landing in the Constant, and she’s invented a couple new ingenious tools! Always ready to roll up her sleeves and lend a helping hand, her new Catapult and Spotlight inventions will be sure to keep her new pals safe, no matter what dangers head their way.

Winona’s Catapult

• Requires a rechargeable Generator to power
• AOE damage to the nearest enemy

Winona’s Spotlight

• Requires a rechargeable Generator to power
• Illuminates the nearest ally

Rechargeable Generators

• Winona’s Generator
  • Provides about a day’s worth of power
  • Requires nitre as fuel
• Winona’s G.E.M.erator
  • Provides 6 day’s worth of power 
  • Requires gems as fuel

However, Winona’s can-do attitude comes at a cost: 

• Winona now consumes hunger when speed-crafting
• Winona now crafts slowly when hungry (with no hunger cost)

With the update we will also have a new animated short and some huge changes to the drop system.

Here's how I would make some Do not Starve characters more useful and why:

Wilson, the one who can survive everything: His beard is really something magnificent! Warm and confortable in winter, cool and breathable in summer, able to filter 70% of rainwater and hard enough to prevent the fog from annoying, as well as slow down the pollen and decrease sneezing per minute. With his beard Wilson can withstand any adversity!

(Designed for players who have difficulty surviving the various seasons)

Willow, an inextinguishable fire that devours it internally: Immune to the flames, is pathologically attracted by the flames, so as to have a brain's regeneration of +20 per minute in front of a fire. With 1 torch + 1 papyrus you can turn every weapon in the game into a variant with the same characteristics but that inflicts fire on enemies! It also deals 33% more damage to the enemies that burn, a real psychopath!

(Designed for players who find it difficult to remain sane and have fun watching the game world burn)

Wendy, she is not dead what she can live forever, and in strange eons even death can die: Her sister Abigail is an apocalyptic cosmic presence: 1200 of life, 5 of regeneration per second when in "hostile" mode and 10 when in "peaceful" mode, 20 of day damage, 40 at sunset and 80 at night, as well as total control over the behavior of the sister, to whom she can say whether to follow her, leave, attack or make the pole.

Wes, crazy among the crazy: at the cost of fifteen of sanity, Wes can "mimic" any prototype equipment and "use" it for a minute, before it disappears. Including sources of lights, clothes, magical items ... careful not to fall asleep with the imaginary flute that holds in your hands!

In the curio carbonate i am unable to fine any of the skins, icon or back grounds i have acquired. 

Hi I am a mainly console player and would very much dislike leaving my items behind to play pc, but I could.

So my question is will the 2019 roadmap apply to consoles? (Specially Xbox in my case)

I am mainly interested in new characters (Wortox hype lol) but am also fairly invested in the new lands tidbit.

Exactly what the title says. Just what you would like to see, no matter how farfetched. For example, here's an idea I had for Maxwell.

Scrap his dapperness, and replace it with a new item, his box of cigars. You can use this to get a cigar, which takes off 10% of the boxes durability. The cigar can be smoked, which regains sanity at a 15 per min rate, gives off a small light radius similar (maybe even smaller) to that of a thermal stone, and raises player heat by like, 1c. The box requires 3 charcoal, 5 grass, and 2 papyrus to craft, and is exclusive to Maxwell in the "dress" tab.

• Fixed animation bug with Wigfrid’s Ultimate Spear skin turning invisible when dropped on the ground.
• Fixed crash in Shop Screen for some users with Steam Overlay disabled.
• Fixed some string issues.

I just sometimes imagine how one character might interact with another and I laugh out loud. Than people wonder why I'm laughing, and dang ain't that awkward.

Anyway, wondering if people do the same thing, and if so, what do they imagine characters doing? XD.

I mean things like,

• Wendy is the closest thing WX has as a friend among the survivors due to her morbid views on life.
• Wolfgang thinks the reason Maxwell is so grumpy is because he wasn't hugged enough as a child. He tries to rectify this by giving Maxwell bear-hugs.
• Wilson and Maxwell constantly attempt to one-up each other with science and magic respectively. This usually ends up bringing a lot of trouble to the group.
• Wes likes hanging out with Wigfrid the most because he thinks of her as a fellow actor just dedicated to her roll, like he is.

You know, silly small things like that. Anyone else here?

Im looking for somebody to play dst with me, im 16 and im from Poland. Im want to play everyday something like 1 hour or more and the last thing is that im a little tryhard and i spent in this game something about 300hours
