Hey everyone, as you may have heard, starting last week, we now host two weekly livestreams on the official Klei Twitch channel.

So i've seen no information around this.
So when i go into the game and host a game, i go to the mods. Then it says my mods have to be updated so i press the update button and around 2 of them finish then, it crashes completely and i can't update anymore mods completely, even if another one is in front. I think this is common because even if i delete those mods that are downloaded, then download new ones. After a month or so new updates for that mods come and it does the same this. Does anyone know how to update this WITHOUT it crashing? Thanks.

So I have in i7 8-core processor, I have cores 6 and 7 solely dedicated to running the overworld and caves servers respectively. But since this game doesn't allow me to run a server on multiple cores, it still means the overworld is limited to relying on 1/8th of my total processing power. It worked fine at first but it's gotten extremely bad lately, with players experiencing slowdowns and rubberbanding that makes the game absolutely unplayable.
I am fairly certain bandwidth is not the issue as 1) all speedtests and ping tests come back normal and 2) I also experience extreme slowdowns and rubberbanding as the host.
CPU being the bottleneck seems to be very likely. I have managed to make things better by installing a mod that periodically cleans up clutter on the ground and limits active mobs / item spawns. I've also run a command that deletes all liftable, non-container and non-essential items on the ground. It's not quite solved yet.
Has anyone run into that issue and found a solution that does not involve restarting on a smaller map? Ours is huge and 150 days old, started getting unplayable around day 135.

Draw this like 2 years ago for a skin a really wanted. Not sure if this is the right place to post it (didn't quite get the weekly art stream, but I think that post is supposed to have art related to Klei's weekly stream, so I think this doesn't fit).
I had forgotten I had ever done this and just stumbled upon it while checking some old folders. Hope someone enjoys it as much as I did when I found it.
I'm making a map where I want most of the trees to be small and stay that way forever. Is there a way to disable the growth cycle for all trees? I've checked the workshop and I couldn't find anything relevant there.

Is there a way to spawn in damaged items, such as a 50% spear or stale food via console commands? Many thanks.
Is it possible Maxwell is still in charge? Was thinking maybe he is and while on the throne the other worlds (hamlet/gorge/forge)ect) gained there own strength and was/or looking to free themselves from the power of maxwell/them?
I was also thinking if it possible that it was the fault of his own (specially with hamlet and shipwreck) with the help of Wilson .
Maxwell is acting maybe to gain trust/loyalty from the other. I wouldn't imagine he would get that loyalty if he was still on the throne. Charlie is acting in his stead as the new ruler (won't say she wouldn't want the power herself, but I kind assume she wasn't ment to be on the throne). Maybe it also to gain power and knowledge of the other kingdoms he (I assume) created.
I also assuming the events in ds all happened including future dlcs while Maxwell was on the throne, as the adventure mode was add by a demand to unlock maxwell.
I hope I made sense, I am quite dumb and if I am trying to rush things I might miss something's or totally mess up my point lol.
I'm not against these limited events, but I think it's such a shame that the items we see in them get abandoned and turned into worthless skins.
Why not add them to DST? The Forge weapons could have been re-balanced for example (there was a mod that tried doing this, but failed miserably).
The one I'm fixated on today though, is this
HOW AMAZING WOULD IT BE TO HAVE A SAFE IN DST? When you craft it, you give it a combination or a number code. You can tell other players the code, so only the people you trust can open it. That way, you can store precious items and not have to worry about people stealing them. This is a really annoying issue playing on servers with people you don't know, I always have to waste inventory space carrying gears and gems, because I'm worried that if I leave them in a chest, they are just gonna disappear.
Also, you could move it like a suspicious marble and maybe with enough gunpowder, you can blow it open. You could get up to all sorts of heist shenanigans.
But no...It's going to be turned into an Ice Box skin...Because apparently people want a refrigerator that looks like a safe.
Seriously, am I the only person who thinks this is such a missed opportunity!?!
Hi, I have this unusual bug where my character wont load when I jump from the normal world to the caves and vice versa. The only thing that fixes is if I disconnect from the server and hosting it again. I don't know what causes it but it seems consistent.
Here's a screenshot of what I am seeing.
What can I do to fix this? I haven't had such issue so far in about 160 hours of play time.
edit: Could it be a cosmetics issue, because I am using Wolfgang's new clothes and face from the Gorge Event?
Hi, I got mad at Abigail because she was killing off all my beehive bees and so I chased her like a turkey to the waters edge and gave her a smack. She died and her flower went ~plooop~ into the water. Is she lost to me forever?

With a SPEAR but wes wasn't strong enough to kill the reanimated skeleton

Deerclops, Goose etc. don't make any sound effects when i play Don't Starve Together. What is this caused by?
