Can you put them in Atrium? I want to test ghosts against FW, but not sure if you can place graves there.

Klei Weekly Art Stream - Charlie (April 16th, 2025)
Hey everyone,
Come join us on this week's show (Wednesday, April 16th at 3:30 pm Pacific Time), where Jesse "The Drawbarian" will be drawing Charlie from Don't Starve Together!
Additionally, if you are drawing along with Jesse, post your drawings on this thread and yours may get featured on next week's fan art spotlight before the art stream starts!
Be sure to click the follow button on the Klei Twitch channel to get alerted whenever we go live: https://www.twitch.tv/kleientertainment
Finally, here's the finished drawing from our most recent art stream:
Wanda's skill tree should have a skill that halves the number of Thulecite Fragments needed to make Time Pieces.
When you make 10 Backtrek Watches, it will consume 160 Thulecite Fragments, which is an amazing amount.
Thoughts on Update Schedule Changes
Since the announcement of the 2024 roadmap, we were assured a consistent update schedule featuring four major updates per year. The development team explicitly stated that there had been "no changes to staffing or output at any level of production" and that we would be receiving "the same amount of content." However, this commitment has not been reflected in the actual delivery.
In the year and a half since that announcement, we’ve only seen three updates that could be considered “major,” and even that is debatable. The addition of the three skill trees, while appreciated, hardly qualifies as major content in the context of past updates. At best, we've seen one substantial update, with the others amounting primarily to quality-of-life improvements.
It’s now been approximately eight months since the last major content drop. Where is the content we were promised, and what are your thoughts on the state of the game as of now ?
Questions that don't deserve their own thread.
Ever feel that you had a question about DST but felt it didn't deserve it's own thread? Well then ask it here.
Intermission believers ?
As the title says, This week marks a month since the release of the last update, and the later schuele sort of went:
Update release -month-intermission -second month -beta -1 month of beta -release of the new update
Also aprils fools is around the corner and we usually get a loging bonus for that so it would make sense.
This posts just exist cause i am excited for next updates, or at least to know whats cooking, and wanted to share and start a converation about it, Have fun, be nice.
Hot take: Wanda would be better designed, more fun and more interesting if the Alarming clock was removed (+Wanda mini rework)
This isnt much a suggestion, as i doubt they will actually remove it because community back lash (I still think it would be a good idea once people properly play around with it, rather than immediately judging. I believe it would be a good experiment). But i believe Wanda would be more interesting without the alarming clock, and be an actual glass cannon. It would make her much better and more interesting in my opinion. This isnt just about balance, because i believe the alarming clock limits Wanda's playstyle and allows for little variation as it overpowers other weapons.
Why this would make Wanda more Interesting?
This would make her much less limited in weapon choices, as other shadow weapons (currently only darksword and riff gear) will be viable. They can expand the shadow weapons to include the sheild of terror and the thulicite club. I dont really like a character having a "Main weapon). I have tried her with darkswords, they have much less dps, but feel more interesting and risky. (She still has stepback watches remember).
To compensate, her shadow magic modifier will be increased since it isnt actually that high, its just because the alarming clock base damage. She would be a better designed glass cannon, as she doesnt have an extremely safe and powerful weapon that passes damage thresholds no other character can pass as easily, and will actually have to get in close and risk damage.
An Expansion and Focus on other time aspects of Wanda
With the removal of the alarming clock making her feel combat focused, they could focus on the utility aspect of time in her skilltree, and balance will be less an issue so there is more free room. She could make things grow faster (not instant growth like Wickerbottom), slow things down, reverse/speed up spoilage, and speed up monster spawns.
She can also speed up movement speed, working speed, and other things. Not all of these ideas could be implemented, i just tried to put down everything that i imagine she could affect. She already has her teleports too, so she wont become bare without the alarming clock.
About the skill tree of librarian Wickerbottom
I have been playing Wickerbottom for about 5 years,She is an intellectual with outstanding ability and high morality,I think her skill tree deserves to be treated with care,Because there are very few people who use her.
1. The san punishment of reading should be dealt with.
2.Although the bookshelf can store a large number of books, the need to carry books with her is also necessary.
3.The power of some impractical books should be strengthened (players who use her know what I said....)

What wx-78 needs.
wx has a bunch of quality of gameplay features, like night vision early game and extra movespeed. He also has nice features like eating gears, not aggroing clockworks, eating spoiled food etc..
In my opinion as someone who plays him a lot, I think he needs more combat specific skills.
It would be cool if the warbis armor was stronger on him and had some interactions and new features.
I don't think his skill tree should focus too much on his circuits, but if I could ask for something there, I would probably ask for atleast 3 circuit slots additionally in the late game. Also the idea for mixing/hacking/combining circuits would be very nice, as we lost a bunch compared to old wx.
I hope Klei can see this as focus more on combat, he has almost 0 combat features.

What strategy do you guys like using for Beequeen?
I'm just curious but Beequeen is a boss my knowledge is fairly limited with since i'm only familiar with some basic strategies (like pan flute for phase 2) or character specific stuff like shadow prison or bramble husk, so im curious what strategies other people in the community have come up with for the boss since she's considered pretty difficult.
me personally, I've been playing mostly maxwell recently so I've been using codex spam to nuke her. But if you got another character specific strategy, something else or some black magic you want to share I am quite interested in seeing it!

That's it for now
We don't have an exact date for the next update just yet, but we're approximately halfway there, with the beta dropping a couple of weeks before that.
We know that some of you are feeling frustrated with the lack of information provided by a long-term roadmap. We understand and apologize for that, but we don't want to spoil upcoming plans before certain things happen in the game, and before we're far enough along with our post-arc development to communicate that to you.
But rest assured that these plans are entirely based on your love of Don't Starve, the lore, and our desire to do the best that we can to return that passion and support. The game has a great future ahead of it, and we can't wait to share those details with you the moment that we can.
Klei Official Servers: Why regen upon updates?
Every dedicated server out there saves before an update restart. Just not Klei. You invest hours into a Klei world, then they update, and the world regens. No one does that. All the many dedicated fan servers out there bring you back to the world and gameday you left before updating. That was normal ten years ago, it is normal now. Just not on Klei.
DST worlds are some of the most griefed/trolled communities, yet, no admin calls possible, and no saves before updates. It's like I'm a goldfish. I forget this, and then I come back, and BOOM... the server coughs, and the invested gameplay is gone.
Why regen upon updates?
Do we really need MORE bosses?
A lot of people in the forums seems to be done already with the boss additions. We had around 6 new bosses from 2023 to now. Don't starve now has more bosses than Terraria.
But really, I actually don't care. I absolutely loved encountering the great depths worm for the very first time by accident while leaving the ruins, because I didn't know why the earthquakes were happening so quickly, I was scared and curious.
And now that we are most definitely getting yet another boss, just from the teaser I can already tell that this one is going to be hard. I really hope this new update shows people that bosses are actually a great addition to the game, and that there is no such thing as "too many" of them.
Little change for each skill tree
I wanted to give 1 small change idea to each skill tree that exists right now that imo will improve how it feels in some way.
Wilson: Torch Longevity and range 3 could also give a small buff (perhaps equivalent to the t1 buff) to magiluminescene, lanterns, and perhaps even dwarf stars. I assume a lot of people think that these skills are unworkable, but I actually like the torch buff and find it quite useful for the first few days, I just wish the skills had a bit more staying power so giving a slight broader reward to getting all 3 in a path would be nice.
Willow: Hungry Lighter should be moved to be part of Willow's base kit. I think this because I feel like the lighter tree eats up so many skill points that it's really hard to make a good build around Bernie without sacrificing important lighter skills. Also, I noticed with a friend new to the game that they basically couldn't engage with new Willow's main gimmick for the first half of Autumn since it takes 2 skills before you can start getting embers.
Wolfgang: Personally I think Wolfgang's tree is the weakest in the game, and I attribute a lot of that to him not really having a lot to work with. I'm of the opinion that Wolfgang should get a new skill tree, but while he doesn't have one, I think the best band-aid is to give him a really easy to implement new skill that makes mightiness drain over time slower while above 100, either as a prereq to push the limits 1 or gym mastery. This would give a better use to mighty gyms, since I think they're pretty ignored for the most part due to how fast dumbbells are.
Woodie: Arguably the best tree in the game, Woodie's tree gave him the viability he needed to use his transformations more often and really define him as a character. My only criticism with the tree is that you can't customize his tree very much, so I would suggest not restricting were-form 2 and 3 skills to their prerequisites (though unlocking mastery would still require all 3 prerequisite skills to be unlocked). This would substantially increase the amount of combinations players can come up with and would make Woodie's tree actually feel like picking from a list of perks to make your playstyle.
Wigfrid: The biggest criticism I've seen for Wigfrid's tree is how her affinities are very weak. All they do is give her songs that let her do a tiny 5% extra damage to the correct alignment. I think the best solution would be to not just buff the damage, but diversify the two as well. Dark Lament could grant 10% movement speed, and Enlightened Lullaby could grant 10 planar defense and sleep resistance. That would make them distinct from each other as well as very strong songs in Wigfrid's collection. Perhaps too strong, though this is less about the balance and more about the idea.
Winona: Winona is the only character with a tree that I haven't played, so I don't think it's fair for me to propose something here.
Wortox: Wortox's tree frustrates me because I feel like it really could have been so much more. For the time being, since I'm only talking about small changes, I'd suggest that Lunar Swindler instantly unlock the recipes for turfs found on Lunar Island and the grotto, and give Wortox enlightenment effects while standing on those turfs. A lot of Wortox players base on the Lunar Island to get away from insanity, so I think providing this QoL would be good for generally the less used of the two affinities. For Shadow Harvester, I would let the effects granted to the Shadow Reaper also grant a weaker AoE damage to the Dark Sword and Shadow Maul. The former because I think that affinities should have some representation pre-rift, and the latter because I think encouraging weapon variety is a good thing.
Wormwood: I actually like Wormwood's tree so the only thing I'd want is the ability to grow grass tufts. I'd merge the berry bush crafting skills to make room for a Grass Tuft Crafting skill. This is a pretty pointless idea, sure, but if there's gonna be a way to make grass tufts renewable, I think Wormwood is probably the way. If somebody in the replies who plays Wormwood a lot has some genuine criticisms, I'm very interested to hear it.
Wurt: While I would love for Wurt to be able to swim in her amphibian tree, that's probably a bit much of an ask. Instead, can Sensible Swamp Fighter get some secondary ability? In my experience there's generally no point to use it. I'd like to see Sensible Swamp Fighter also make merms automatically aggro on non-herd enemies hostile to the player like batilisks and mosquitos. That'd be more "sensible" to me. (and this might be a little bit of a soft complaint from my Wurt world where I may have based a little too close to a cave hole and the merms would NOT help me out until I got hit)
Walter: Probably the most balanced skill tree of them all, Walter has two weak skills in my opinion and I'll comment on the biggest problem. The ammo pouch is a really weak item. Its problem is that it's usually never going to be more efficient to hold an ammo pouch than hold the crafting materials for your ammo. Since ammo crafts quickly with the ammo smith skill, there's pretty much no reason to get the ammo pouch considering all of Walter's great other skills. I would buff the ammo pouch to hold 10 or 12 slots instead of just 6.
Anyways if you agree let me know if you disagree also let me know and if you have an idea for Winona (or if you think she's perfect as-is) I'd love to hear it. If you think this post is entirely stupid make sure to write "Wow, just wow, the state of the DST forums in 2025, ladies and gentlemen. It's genuinely despicable that a person could say such things."
