I just want to share my ideas on possible WX 78 skills. Please feel free to add your suggestions and critiques.
Charge Branch
Water Resistance I
Reduce damage taken when wet by 50%
Water Resistance II
Reduce charge loss rate when wet by 50%
Water Resistance III
Remove stun when taking wetness damage
Charge Efficiency I
Increase passive charge rate gain (Gain 1 charge every 60 seconds)
Charge Efficiency II
Further increase passive charge rate gain (Gain 1 charge every 40 seconds)
Charge Efficiency III
Halves the charge loss when extracting circuits
Extra Skills
Picky Extractor
Craft the super circuit extractor using 2 electrical doodad, 1 frazzled wires, and 2 twigs. Allows WX78 to remove any installed circuit from the charge meter
Gear Up (Must unlock the picky extractor skill)
Craft the Multi-bot using 10 gold, 4 scrap, 2 electrical doodad, and 4 gears. The Multi-bot and can chop, mine, and dig at 1.5 times speed within a 3 tile radius where it is deployed and have twice the durability of gold tools (the durability is combined like the pick/axe). When it reached 0%, it will deactivate and can be refueled with gears, each gear restoring 50% (Can possibly have a radial menu to select what task it will do)
Circuit Branch
Circuit upgrade I (Must have 3 skills unlocked)
Reduce durability loss when extracting circuits (25% > 15%)
Circuit upgrade II
Reduce durability loss when extracting circuits (15% > 10%)
Circuit upgrade III
Reduce pin requirement for all three pin circuits to two
Master Circuitry (Must have all circuit upgrade skills to unlock)
Branch 1 - Chemical Booster Circuit
Combine super acceleration circuit, super gastrogain circuit, and 10 biodata to craft
Effect: Gain 50% speed bonus when hunger is 81% to 100%, 25% speed bonus when hunger is 21% to 80%, 10% speed bonus when hunger is 0% to 20%.
Additional installed super acceleration circuits add 5% speed bonus
Branch 2 - High Voltage Circuit
Combine electrification circuit, super hardy circuit and 10 biodata to craft
Effect: Getting hit by an attack will cause WX78 to enter discharge mode, in which they will gain an electric damage modifier for 10 seconds. Once discharge mode ends, WX enters charging mode for 5 seconds in which discharge mode cannot trigger.
Branch 3 - Photon Blaster Circuit
Combine illumination circuit, super processing circuit, and 10 biodata to craft
Effect: If WX78 is not holding an item on their hand slot, gain a prompt to fire a 50 damage projectile at the cost of 5 sanity each or a charged projectile that deals AOE damage that costs 10 sanity (same as when using living artifact from hamlet)
Note: Master circuits retain both the attributes of the two circuits that they are made of, aside from the speed bonus of the super acceleration circuit. Only one master circuit can be installed at a time. Must have the skill unlocked to install a master circuit. Master circuits have no durability.
Machine Upgrade Branch
Updated bioscannalyzer I
Increase scanning speed by 25%
Updated bioscannalyzer II
Increase scanner movespeed by 25%
Updated bioscannalyzer III
Mobs previously scanned gain 50% more biodata (only works when the scan timer fully resets)
Self-Repair I (Must have 6 skills unlocked)
Increase sanity regen by 1 every 10 seconds for every super processing circuit, photon blaster circuit, and beanbooster circuit installed
Self-Repair II
Increase health regen by 1 every 10 seconds for every super gastrogain circuit and chemical booster circuit installed
Self-Repair III
Increase damage reduction by 5% for every super hardy circuit and high voltage circuit installed
Note: Robotic body skills will still be in effect even if the circuits are inactive.
Affinity
Prototype circuit slot (Must have 10 skills unlocked)
Gain two additional circuit slots at the top of the charge meter that does not passively gain charge. Both slots can be charged with one lightning strike, charged lightning rod, electric milk, volt goat chaud froid, and Winona's generators and G.E.M.erators. Both charges last for 4 minutes.
Lunar upgrade (Must defeat celestial champion and have no shadow affinity)
Upgrade the prototype circuit slots with lunar energy, allowing it to be charged with pure brilliance for 8 minutes. When charged with pure brilliance, WX78 gains 5 planar defense and charge will not be affected by wetness (normal charges are still affected by wetness)
Celestial Circuit
Scan celestial champion to unlock
Cost 1 celestial shard, 3 pure brilliance, and 20 biodata to craft
Can only be installed on prototype circuit slots charged with pure brilliance
While installed, the prototype circuit slots will no longer lose charge
Celestial circuit has no durability
Must have the skill unlocked to install celestial circuit.
Effect: While installed, WX78 gains 10 planar damage and become neutral to gestalts. Jimmy becomes a lunar droid, losing his ability to scan mobs for biodata. Instead, Jimmy will release lunar energy within his scan range, putting all mobs to sleep after some time of being exposed to the scanner (scan timer have the same time as scanning mobs and bosses for biodata and affected by the scan cooldown and updated bioscannalyzer skills. WX78 needs to be within scan range to complete the scan)
Shadow upgrade (Must defeat ancient fuelweaver and have no lunar affinity)
Upgrade the prototype circuit slots with shadow magic, allowing it to be charged with pure horror for 8 minutes. When charged with pure horror, WX78 gains 5 planar defense and charge will not be affected by wetness (normal charges are still affected by wetness)
Ancient Circuit
Scan ancient fuelweaver to unlock
Cost 1 dreadstone, 3 pure horror, and 20 biodata to craft
Can only be installed on prototype circuit slots charged with pure horror
While installed, the prototype circuit slots will no longer lose charge
Ancient circuit has no durability
Must have the skill unlocked to install ancient circuit.
Effect: While installed, WX78 gains 10 planar damage and become neutral to shadow creatures. Jimmy becomes a shadow droid, losing his ability to scan mobs for biodata. Instead, Jimmy will release shadow magic within his scan range, creating a copy of a mob or boss that Jimmy is scanning. Shadow mobs last for 10 seconds and shadow bosses last for 5 seconds and have the same stats as their counterpart. Shadow scans will attack all hostile mobs and anything that WX78 attacks (scan timer have the same time as scanning mobs and bosses for biodata and affected by the scan cooldown and updated bioscannalyzer skills. WX78 needs to be within scan range to complete the scan)
