anyone found this yet? If you deal enough damage to stagehand, you'll get a blueprint to create a copy of vase like the one at right side, the rose just faces different direction with original one

DST Skins Checklist

I originally made this for my friends and I to keep track of our skins collection, but I thought I'd also share it here.  The layout is fairly rustic, however, it does its job.

The checklist lets you save & filter items based on collection, character, color, rarity, and whether you own an item or not.  I've also included links to each skin's Steam page.

You can view the code, download, or preview the checklist here:

To use, save the HTML file to your computer and open it with your browser.  Alternatively, you can use the live preview link above, but Google Drive is discontinuing HTML web hosting at the end of August; so, the preview will cease to work after then.

The skin images (from @Chris1488's skins topic) are embedded (via base64 encoding) into the HTML file, so the file size is ~1.25MB.  Saving uses the Local Storage of your browser, so your save will be lost if you clear your browser's cache and/or site data.  Javascript also needs to be enabled to use the interactive features.

So, back in July I made a thread showing off all of the concept art skins before we knew about the clothes system. Since then, the thread died off as it was no longer relevant. So I was thinking, "Hey, the wiki doesn't really show off all of the new clothes, someone should do something about that." But since I can't edit the wiki (or know how to), made this thread showing off all the skins that Klei has released to DST as of now. I will update this thread with new skins as they roll out. enjoy!

Wardrobe Outfits and Skins Showroom!

Outfits and Skins has been teased before and one of it's first iterations was showcased in a Rhymes With Play Klei Dev Stream seen here (Don't Starve Together: Caves and Skins First Look). Time passed, cavesbeta happened and now the Outfits and Skins has been implemented into the main branch! For more specific information, go here (Update Dec 23, 2015) then look and open the spoiler under the word RELEASE.
 
To get the point of this thread (Wardrobe Outfits and Skins Showroom!), I think it would be nice if we have a centralized place to showoff/showcase the vanity items we get in-game and that's why I made this thread. I've also learned during the early phases of the Skins and Outfits Implementation that these vanity items will show up in our steam inventories and we will be able to trade them with other players. This thread may help you with finding the right vanity item that suits your taste!

 

Head over to the Official DST Trading Subforum to make and find trade offers!
 
Known Gift Drops Information: (subject to change without prior notice)

  • Gift Drop caps out at 4 gift drops per week. (source)
  • Your currently owned Vanity Items has no effect on future gift drops' quality/frequency. (source)
  • You can view your owned Vanity Items by clicking Collection in the Main Menu.
  • Vanity Items are tagged Not Marketable and Tradable in your Steam Inventory.

I may be jumping the gun but I figured the forums is going to need this sooner rather than later. As some of you may already know because of Klei's lastest dev stream(Oct 8, 2015) exactly on 52:20 that the skins gift drops will be released very soon for the cavesbeta branch within the day! Roughly within 6-12 hours from now by my estimation. It might even be out by the time I've finished writing this post.

I know this has been mentioned before but it seems like when I remove the puddle with the console command I can't build on it. My character just goes there starts building but nothing appears :/ I'm on DST.

Klei please fix this issue.

In Don't Starve Together, I went on a Klei official server, some dudes show up and they server take over and kick everyone, I know i can play private but the voting needs to be tweaked a bit more.

THE TORCH CAN NO LONGER BE OBTAINED. THE DEADLINE WAS 16/05/16. YOU CAN STILL SOLVE THE PUZZLE BUT YOU WON'T GET THE TORCH.

PUZZLE SOLVED!

SOLVING THIS PUZZLE GIVES YOU THE TRAGIC TORCH SKIN IN DON'T STARVE TOGETHER! (EXPIRED)

Your bloody reward!

HOW TO OBTAIN THE TRAGIC TORCH:

Step 1: Go here: http://cyclum.dontstarvetogether.com/ and log in with your Steam account.

Step 2: Simply enter INFIRMUS into the bar below to update the comic.

(This part of the puzzle was solved by @Flare2V )

Step 3: After typing in Infirmus click on all 12 flowers in the comic, including Maxwell's rose on the final panel. Double click them in case one click isn't working. If it still isn't working try to clear your browser's cache. When done correctly the comic updates.

Step 4: Double click the smoke in the last panel to update the comic.

Step 5: Type in PULVIS ET UMBRA SUMUS to continue the puzzle.

Step 6: Click on the 2 berry bushes in the third panel, the trap on the second panel, the stick Wilson is holding on the first panel, the fire and the crock pot to update the comic.

Step 7: A bunch of roses will appear on the second page now. The second page borders spell out CHARLIE top to bottom. You have to click all the roses on the panels in order of the letters H-E-I-R to complete the puzzle.

This is the most complicated step, click the roses shown in the image in order:

Once you do this the puzzle will be fully updated and you will unlock the Tragic Torch skin when you log into Don't Starve Together on Steam!

Questions about tumbleweeds spawners and ruins guardian

Hello.

I have 2 questions:

1) I knew it was possible to detect the tumbleweeds spawners in the desert by moving a structure randomly on the desert ground and the moment you'd get it red it would mean it's not placeable there because of a tumbleweed spawner which you could then surround with walls to farm tumbleweeds. Does this not work any longer? I tried doing the same thing but for the love of me I can't seem to find them. I did a c_gonext"tumbleweedspawner" and it certainly found them, so they are there, yet I can build a structure in the spawner area. I do not want to find them with the console command, I'd rather keep going doing the old fashion of going on the shoreline if there's no legit way to find the spawners.

2) What is the easiest way to kill the guardian at the moment? I knew the strategy with the fireplaces to  get him stuck, but I heard it doesn't work anymore. I am planning to raid the ruins soon and would like to know if there's a way to easily kill him without tanking.

P.S. I am playing in the new reign beta branch. :) Any hints and tips are welcome.

I can say how to survive DST but i can not understand why "Vote" can not get some limts.

Everyone can vote to kick him/her if you do not like him/her. Ya,you can do it,but what i should say?

"Vote to kick" a server only has 5 times or less. Or be able to let new world set "vote to kick" when world is day 1.

I have made a starter for easily start a dedicate server. And most of them will not open the voting system because of the regenerate command. It's seems like that four fresh guy can easily regenerate the hundred days world because the others are on dinner. And some naughty children seems like to vote. It  seems fun to them. So I have to set the voting system to 173 by rewrite the file.

So, why not separate the voting command in the cluster.ini, in this way we can config and select all by ourselves. Or there were already been separated and just I don't know. If so, please let me know.

Strange shadow flying by firepit [bug?]

I'm not sure if it was a visual glitch or an actual feature:

During summer, I was in the savannah biome at night, during a frog rain among beefalos. We lighted a firepit and, when the light was low, we [both] saw a strange shadow fly by our firepit. I have no idea of what it was and whether it was a bug, but I'm thinking it might be something related to A New Reign.

(happened too fast, wasn't able to get a screenshot. didn't find it afterwards)

Anyone else experience this?
