If webber got hurt next to a spider den the other spiders should help him like they would with other spiders because he is one same with wurt but with merms also with the glasses she can give to other players 

Is It Possible to Reset Compendium Memory?

Title says it all.

The thing is I want to reset progress of my Cook Book if possible. Especially modded recipes. I'm in a middle of creating a mod that adds some recipes and was trying different ingredients, but game is reading disabled or changed recipes as previously used and it's confusing.

Since I already decided which ingredients will be used in which recipes I would love to reset Cook Book mess and make it to remember only the correct ones.

Any ideas guys? Is it even possible?

The fact that the 2021 roadmap says we are getting only 3 reworks really worries me. 

Ive already been waiting for over a year for Webber's rework and since he is now the weakest character beside Wes i really think he should be the next in line to get reworked. 

 

I also think underpowered characters ahould be given rework priority over overpowered ones, otherwise nobody will want to play them anymore like nobody wants to play Webber anymore except people who main him. 

Toughts on this tier list ?

Beefalos dont want to reproduce

So, I have another problem-my beefalos dont want to reproduce. I made a farm for them, have three of them and they dont reproduce for over 30 game days :(

I wanted to post my tier list. Its based on solo play and mostly geared towards someone that hits the ruins first and then focuses on fighting bosses (basically how my runs go).

Those that are on S tier don't need the ruins (mostly Wolfgang and Warly) and can focus elsewhere. I consider damage perks to be the best perks in the game due to saving time and resources on bosses. Boss loot itself goes a long way to saving you time such as the furnace saving on log consumption.

Drawbacks or lack of, usually don't impact my game at all. Except for Wortox who has to eat meaty stew and sanity management can be a pain early game. Once you get a tam it gets significantly easier but sanity is still important where most characters can disregard it completely. Nightmare fuel is only good if you have enough living logs and makes boss fights risky. 

In order to not have to factor in too many scenerios we will assume the only bosses to fight are Ancient Guardian, Dragonfly, Bee queen, Klaus, Deerclops, Moose/Goose, Shadow Chess Pieces, Ant lion, and Fuelweaver all in year 1. As well as how powerful they become entering year 2. 

Late bloomers start out slow but pick significantly later on. If this wasn't tied to year one some would be higher like Wx-78. The placing on each tier does not matter as that can change due to rng. 

Rng also places a Significant role. The higher the character is on a tier the more they can shrug off bad luck. For example, a very lucky Wx-78 with ruins loot could outpace Wurt. On console ruins can be very small, my most recent ruins had 2 pseudoscience stations and one was destroyed by a rook.

Warly is funny because he cant be hit with too much bad luck, but at the same time, "normal" and above runs go sooooooo well. Getting that lunar island before day 15 and starting a Chaud-froid auto farm is *Cheff kiss*.

Wes can be fast at gathering resources but also needs more resources. More sanity for more speedy balloons, more food goes stale due to lower stats, crawling horrors need an extra hit and terrorbeaks need 2 extra hits making going insane/in the ruins take extra time. Need more fresh Hambat early due to lower damage.

The further you go down the list the less it matters. Once you go below tier A they all do about the same with good rng.

Walter can cheese fuelweaver, but so can everyone else with a houndious shootius. He just does it faster :P .

Let me know if I can improve my runs with strats I may be unaware of.

Hamlet andShipwrecked is not gonna happen.

I'm trying to bring this up cause I seen many and many of these posts begging that HAM and SW to happen, but we really don't need that content since we've already got all the necessary things similar to both DLC's from Singleplayer. (such as mushlamps/glowcaps, infinity light source, normal pigs, boats of it's own type of mechanics, swimming ocean fish and ocean biomes ect.)

I'm just trying to ask to gather the common sense we have to realize that. We got that content, to not full extent in similarity, but Klei is working on DST and NOT focusing on bringing Singleplayer stuff cause DST is it's own thing. And I'm not saying that they shouldn't bring in some types of features similar to the DLC's, cause clearly there's plenty of cool mechanics that HAVE been implemented already or reworked completely (a.k.a. farms and boats) and hope more things to be remade to fit the current title we're all playing.

On that note, I think after years of talking about these types of topics I think we should spare some time to start sparking up the topic about:

This expansion was told by Klei to be planned before they decided to work on a New Reign expansion for DST instead.
As a while ago it was planned to add some bit of variation to the basic biomes, more technical stuff were planned to be worked on and what we got is the beefalo domestication which was introduced as a New Reign Quality of Life update for DST years ago.

I feel that we need this type of expansion mainly to refresh the current worldly mechanics that we've got to improve:
-Evolving world as years go by;
-New World generation Settings (like- archipelago);
-Weather patterns;
-Sea content updates that RoT haven't delivered properly to make the sea feel more lively and have reason to go venture to (or at least yet);
-Cave biome improvements, as we got big patches of land underground are as dull as a rock can get;
-Crossplay for consoles perhaps(?).

These are my thoughts and I hope it would spark some sort of discussion about this.

it is possible to have mushroom trees in the surface? like ds. i was in a public server and saw some mush trees and the server did not had any mods. so i was quite confused

I had this kind of world gen several times before the QoL, and now after QoL. Anyone else encountered such world gen? Pretty sure it isn't intended... (Seed: 1615651667)

New seasons, a more dangerous Constant after two years.

I think that after 2 seasonal cycles (autumn-winter-spring-summer) there should be new, more dangerous seasons.
I have some DST themed ideas:

Season of the Moon: 

Predominant color: Blue.
Global climate: Temperate (as in autumn).
Clock: Long nights (like in winter).
Duration: 11 days (from new moon to full moon).
Effects on the player: Sanity replaced by the Enlightenment.
As we approach the full moon, more and more gestalt manifestations in the world. Hordes of dead dogs every 2 days. Dead penguins spawn if you approach the ocean. All spiders become crystal spiders.
Pigs are permanently petrified and can be pickaxed for moon rock.
During the height of the full moon, a special meteor spawns in the meteor field - it's a new crystal boss. (Below example image taken from Darkest Dungeon - Color of Madness.).

If you fail to kill the boss, the dead season begins:

Predominant color: Yellow.
Clock: No day, only dusk and night.
Duration: 11 days (from full moon to new moon).
Effect on the player: Hunger is reduced twice as fast. If sanity drops below 50%, hunger drops three times faster.
During the dead season, vegetables wilt almost instantly.
Plants dry out (as in summer).
Food spoils twice as fast. Wild animals have a 33% chance each day of random death, leaving an infected carcass on the ground. If touched, an infected carcass poisons the player.
Every two days, hordes of poisonous mosquitoes attack the player (dogs do not spawn).
Food left on the ground (or collected from the ground) becomes rancid: if eaten, it poisons the player.
Bees do not produce honey.
Each night there is a 20% chance that a nightmare knight, nightmare bishop or nightmare rook will spawn, which will haunt the player until they are killed.

Summoning a reanimated skeleton to the surface will start a new boss fight with a special reward.

Eyeplant not eating item
