Seriously. The turf's inventory icon looks so fricking good and then you place it and you get this vaguely pink nonsense.
The only time this looks remotely close to the titular blue is in winter.
I mean, I really want some pink turf (looking at you, Sugarwood Park), but not like this.
I really like to entering random servers and play for few hours with them. It's funny and let you meet with strangers, sometimes you get good friends.
As you know, the default server type is online and people just don't want to bother with passwords. So that means you get kicked most of servers you join
The thing I want is this, default server style should be only friends. Game could pop up and warn you about server style when you click generate world like "Your server is only open to your friends, wanna continue?" or "Your server is open to everyone, wanna continue?".
So with that's a annoying thing that could be fixed. I hope we see it on next qol
I've got to admit, I'm a little confused. Gorge was quite some time ago by now, and while they're slowly starting to add more skins from it, with each update I'm continually perplexed by certain omissions - namely the lack of any Golden variants for the tools (the Nordic tools came with golden skins when they were added) and most particularly the lack of the Victorian garden hoe. Considering that the hoe was first added with Gorge I'd have thought it'd be a shoe in, but instead they've added the pickaxe which didn't already exist.
I dunno, I guess it's hardly a massive deal and maybe they'll come at some point but I just find it kind of odd.
So, I, as a newer player (I only have been playing DST for a few months now), main Winona, and I just have to say that I love her in-game quotes. Whenever I play, I literally go out of my way in some of my worlds just to examine something to see what her comment on it will be. I just highly appreciate how her character shines through her words (and another plus is the fact that some hint at possible lore, which I'm assuming most people know already).
Recently, I have begun to explore some more characters as well (Wilson and WX-78), and I find Wilson's quotes (though quite a bit of it is simply saying what the item does, from what I've seen) to be adorable, and WX-78's quips are just downright hilarious to me. I'm planning on trying out Walter and Wigfrid soon, too.
I'm just going to share a few quotes that I can remember off the top of my head, and I encourage you guys to do the same! I don't think I have explored enough of this community to know exactly how much people have really stopped to appreciate the writing the developers have not only put into the characters' stories, but the writing simply put into developing their personalities too.

Is anyone on console actually having a good time with the new update? I've fuming after essentially losing all progress on everything I did since it came out.
Lag is extreme often to the point where the only way to progress is literally disconnecting and reconnecting. The opening chester and chests issue is also prevalent with all sorts of actions including picking things up off the ground.. character gets stuck in an infinite loop and you have to MASH circle repeatedly in a hope that you will get broken out of the loop (this sometimes takes a stupid amount of time). I even got stuck in a loop of attacking that I couldn't break against a Treeguard almost killing me (the game literally stopped me from kiting and just kept walking me back to the treeguard allowing it to just hit me over and over again.
This update has pretty much completely broken the game for me and seemingly others, is anyone on console not having EXTREME problems right now that make the game near unplayable?
I get that even I posted in a thread yesterday saying that I hope the update comes out sooner rather than later... but not like this. After losing such a HUGE amount of progress and losing all my saved world settings presets I sort of just don't even want to play right now... even though I have a stupid amount of stuff I need to redo (need to rebuild my ENTIRE carrat racing track.... I blocked several Klaus spawns... man I don't even want to think of what else I got done today..).
Klei please make it a priority to fix the game on console as it is in a HORRIBLE state right now.
So, if you buy a skin in Steam, and refund it, the skins still doesn't disappear and it's fully functional even if you got your money back. Please fix this.

So, I bought the Deluxe Victorian bundle back in 2018, and now the Bundle has been updated with the new skins and are players supposed to not get the new skins?

Some years ago I used to watch a streamer put some ingredients in the crockpot and pressing the cook button from the keyboard, not with the mouse, in DS (not DST) and I am sure it was not a mod because I managed to do the same in DS but just forgot how.
How do you do this in DST? Is it available in here?

My dear Wolfgang managed to trap himself while being sane and of course I mocked him by taking a screenshot and weeks later finding myself trapped in this too while being sane.
Wigfrid is able to fish in carpet. Who would have guessed.
I am personally liking YOTB. New mechanics and items are great. However after a bit of testing and trying out the new stuff I wonder if some of these changes are temporary?
Will we still be able to bring our beefalos to the caves?
Are bells permanent? Can I craft it following months in a new world?
And one last thing, I know this is a no but will we be still able to dress our beefalos after the event? I was shocked seeing beefalo outfits however I very much dislike the idea of most of these beautiful cosmetics, mechanic, items of all YOT items won't be available for another 12 years after they were added.
Carrats, belts, clout snouts (even elite pigs) stayed, but they don't have much of a permanent use. I think we should see a new ancient crafting station that lets us build previous years' YOT structures. This would lead to an aesthetic look on worlds and would open the way of Klei to bring and add new features every 12 years (which I don't doubt).
Currently, carrats are being used to lower sanity on Lunar Island, and I haven't seen a single elite pig since YOTP ended. It is a shame that all the hard work Klei puts in these mechanics, and fun we are having lasts 28 days and no more,

So, one issue with the beefalo bell... my guy doesn't beg for food. Which, okay is nice, but when you're domesticating and he wags his tail and begs that's kind of a key indicator of what to do and when.
Now that he's paired with a bell he doesn't do that, so it's way way harder to know how domestication is going.
Can you unpair a beefalo, or repair a beefalo with a bell and keep his domestication level, and hopefully his name?

i hosted a modded server a while ago and everything was working just fine until the game got updated (13-3-2021)
my friends kept getting their game crashed so suddenly and we couldn't detect what mod was causing it
at first we thought the issue was only coming from adding caves and i had to edit the files for a bit to get rid of it
but nothing has changed yet the problem only kept getting worse
