Hello. i copied my save files to Documents/Klei but it doesnt work i cant see them.
So i dont care my first files anymore i need to find current files because i use deepfreeze which is resets pc every start i set exception folder as steam and klei folder but my save files do not survive.
I want to know where is my files ?
Btw i dont think i have steamcloud because after i format my pc my old saves didnt appear so i only need answers
What would *YOU* like to be added to trouble your waters that probably won't be added because they already started the beta.
For me it would be a bull kelp forest with green waters and it can get your boat stuck. Then having to untangle it. Just cus I think ocean biomes are cool and I wanna hear better ideas than mine.:)
After an update like Troubled Waters comes out, do worlds that were made before the update start to get some of the new content over time, based on the world regrowth? For example, will the new Seaweed plants and Barnacles start to grow in the ocean?

Why the Removal?
Why is Klei removing their games from Geforce Now? I've been really bothered by developers doing this, and I didn't think that Klei would fall into that bucket. As a consumer, I'm paying for a license to use on my Steam account. Why is it any of the developer/publishers business where I run my license? If I want to run the game on a toaster that doesn't have a display, that's my prerogative as long as I'm not using my license in more than one place at a time. If the reason is they don't want people to give people the ability to run it not on their computer, then they should go ahead and ban gaming cafes from being able to use their games too. Gaming cafes are public computers that people login too as well. Geforce Now cloud gaming is no different.

Trying to play devil's advocate rationalize why Klei might be doing this but really I'd like to know from the Klei itself. Maybe it's because...:
Does anyone know why Klei games are actually getting pulled? I'm hoping it's for something legitimate like licensing and not for the typical developer excuses I've seen online about having arbitrary control regardless of what the users want :(.
So I know there's 'plantkin' 'mime' But I am looking for how to add the ability to eat wood, help pipspook, and make shadow people if that's a tag to use.

after thousand times regenerating worlds to find a good world with a reed trap, i got this.
i have a save on day 1 (no character selected), disease set to none, all other settings are default.

I never stopped to actually wonder, why did they move Dragonfly to the desert in DST? It's been that way for so long that I forgot to wonder why it actually happened. Seems a bit weird to break the one giant for each season pattern, no? Did anyone at Klei ever answer this? I searched for a few minutes and couldn't find anything.

i collect extra tings like carpet and marble after i decide to where build my camp (which is deciding tooks almost 1.5 days)
Immedieatly i starting collect lot of woods for make lot of chests 1 chest for every 1 item i dont like to put everything together.

As someone who plays a lot of warly, when I saw we got 8 new dishes I was very excited to have new food to play with! With new content showing up, the question of "how can this be used" comes to mind, I myself had 2 questions that I would like to have answered by more than myself so I can have a little bit of perspective.
as I was typing this, I was informed that shaving the seaweed at night with a razor is a good way to get the barnacles without being attacked, and should you choose to kill the sea weeds and transport the plants, the heads only should grow back after a full moon. Playing wormwood is a very easy solution but i'm not a fan of character swapping so I like these options.
personally I feel like the jelly salad offers the most as a rather cheap sanity dish for one honey, a leafy meat and some twigs for 50 sanity. But i'm curious to see if anyone else has some unique application of some of these foods.
I think we should establish where we are posting things. Do we post content about Troubled Waters in "[Don't Starve Together] General Discussion" or "[Don't Starve Together] Return of Them"? Because right now, it seems like it's all over the place. People are posting in both at random.

Hello everyone, I cannot guarantee these methods would fix the issues for you but I'm making this thread in hopes of collating all the possibilities of why players cannot claim their Twitch Drops. So first and fore most, let's double check that we have all the necessary checkboxes cleared that SHOULD allow us to receive our drops.

If you have already properly connected your Twitch Account to your Klei Account before, here's how to make sure you've linked them correctly.
Below is the image of what your https://accounts.klei.com/account/info should show, if properly connected:
Clicking the Twitch Account Number should directly bring you to your Twitch Account's setting. Then below is the image of your Connections and under OTHER CONNECTIONS should reflect Klei Entertainment:
Also if you've accumulated enough watch times Twitch Notifications should reflect new drops, example below:
Drops are received the same way we all received our Daily Drops, upon first login of the day as soon as we enter the Main Menu of DST (after pressing Play and properly logged in).

If you've made sure of these things and you still haven't received your Twitch Drops, then follow the links below:
Earned Twitch Drops are not showing up in Don't Starve Together

Make sure to double check for every method mentioned in these Klei Support Articles. If you still aren't able to receive your drops by opening DST then go to Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether and attach the client_log.txt file from there to your reply to this thread.
DO NOT COPY PASTE its contents to a reply. Simply DRAG-DROP the whole file from that folder into the edit box when you make a reply to this thread.
Hopefully we can figure out what's going wrong together for any outliers on this issue.

UPDATE (April 27, 2020):
New update for the Klei servers has been deployed and any discrepancies has been retroactively applied to affected accounts cause by unintended side effects by a previous Klei server update. Refer to the dev replies in this thread for more info. Unless outliers come up, everything should be back in order for everyone.

I've tried posting about this before, but its been taken down every time I've tried, I don't even know how long this post will stay up for... I just don't know whats going anymore.. I just want an explanation for this..
So a couple weeks back I started a single player world to practice getting better at the game. But the more I started playing the more weird stuff i started noticing as you can see this is a local only world so i'm honestly quite confused on how something like this could be happening, I don't even have any mods on!
So when I first got into the world everything seemed to be going fine, I thought id check out the caves since i hadn't explored them much. But then in the darkness i started hearing something behind me, I took some screenshots when i could it seemed to be that.. Wilson was following me??? But... he had white eyes??? It may be hard to see it, in some of these, but it seriously freaked me out.. so i got out of the caves as soon as I could.
As I explored the world more i started noticing... beard hair scattered around the world along with some strange burnt structures? I was seriously scared at this point. But regardless, I pushed forward. As i started walking by the yellow grass area, I heard sounds of beefalo dying, I started running over immediately, to catch this thing in the act but by the time i got there, all that was left were the drops from the beefalo.
What happened next really messed me up. I found this shrine in the woods surrounded by dead mandrakes and beard hair, and then for a split second it showed up, luckily i was quick enough to grab a screenshot. I didn't see much more of it, but i saw all the damage he had left on the world, Burnt structures and forests littered across the world, with strange beard hair scattered along..
I- I just don't know what to think of all of this. Please if anyone has any explanations please tell me. What are your thoughts on this?
Now that leafy meat is a pretty useful ingredient. Was wondering what's the best method of farming them? It be cool if we could farm catrats or saladmanders? Does anyone know anything about their respawn cycles

Today i present to you the Crab King fight with a pearl against an army of 15 bunnymen! I knew that Bee Queen and Dragonfly were already doable using bunnymen, but i was wondering if Crab King could also be done with this technic.
I showcase in this video everything you need to know to actually do this fight without to much trouble! On my attempt, the fight lasted for 2 min 12 sec. It is quite efficient if you ask me. For now, Crab King doesnt have any valuable loot to be farmed all the time, but i think this technic can help a solo player take down the boss.

First off i want to say that this post is a just a sugestion and i love the game and what the devlopers have planned for it, i just think it would be really great if Wilson had a little bit of shine behind lore, and i am very aware that the whole Wilson character revolves around simplicity and i love that, i think a extensive rework wouldn't really fit him, and that is why i think that a rework could come in form of an event like ''Wilson's Special Day'' could even be in celebration of Don't Starve's anniversary, where for once the mad unlucky scientist himself, that has gone through a lot gets to have a special power like the others, finally getting to show it's ideas that have been traped in his crazy mind for all these years to his friends!
it would be lovely to hear your opinion too in what special power Wilson could have if he ever got one by chance ♥
