stupid thing but i examined a gravestone and it said pulvis et umbra sumus which mean we are all dust and shadow now, does this mean that the dead become shadows or am i putting it too literal, because not all the graves produces ghosts

*SPOILERS* The Future For the Crystalline Collection
So, as we may know, the Twitch drops have moved onto a new theme, that being the Crystalline collection. So far we've had nothing but the Metamorphosed Flame, but when I checked the DST Skins Checklist, I actually found out that the other items in the collection exist within the games files, apparently.

So, what do you guys think? I think it's super awesome, I love all of these. I get some Paper Mario 64 vibes from some of them. Hopefully after Warly drops, the Twitch stuff will roll out regularly again. I can't wait.

How to access host DST server on a different steam account on the same computer
Hi,
My girlfriend and I have a DST world that we started playing when I was hosting it on her computer using my steam account. We would like to now host it on her computer but using her steam account instead. I have heard that the DST save files aren't linked to an account but when she tries to host the world it does not appear, only worlds she has created herself appear. How can we make it so that she can host the world using her account on her computer?

So what do you think Wendy's rework's going to be? Will Klei remove her damage penalty and make Abigail weaker? Or add something completely different and make her a more decent character to play as.

Theory on the true nature of "Them"
We know that the Throne existed well before Maxwell's arrival.
As far as we know, it is as old as Constant.
Perhaps infinite sovereigns sat on it: each one has shaped the world in his image and likeness, until the divine act of creating and destroying has consumed their flesh and their minds.
Perhaps "Them" are just all the previous gods of the Constant, now so consumed that they are no more than ethereal entities halfway between being and non-being.
Even Charlie is becoming one of them... Maxwell, on the other hand, was pardoned: someone or something prevented him from losing his mind and his flesh completely (though remaining profoundly misled and debilitated).
Perhaps Wagstaff, from the height of his technological omniscience?
Or maybe Abigail, a kind of benevolent otherworldly entity left in this valley of tears that we call existence to watch over her family?
Or maybe just luck: for the law of large numbers, sooner or later the constant cycle must break. The symmetry breaks. And a king is saved.
But Constant existed before him, and will still exist later.
Charlie are already past. Her kingdom is ephemeral.
The Throne wants at a new king who knows how to create a worthy world.

Can't create an account! HEP!
Howdy all,
I just bought Don't Starve Together and launched it in Steam. It gives me a prompt that states that since I have never played the game, I have to create an account. SURE! NP!
I click the create account button which opens a browser window with the Klei accounts creation page. I select Steam which pops me to the steam community page asking me to sign in there. I hit "Sign in" and BAM! It sends me right back to the Klei accounts sign in page where I can select Steam, Xbox and others. Again.
What am I doing wrong here?

Introducing, Klei Rewards
We are introducing a system that will allow players to collect "points" on their accounts by doing various things like subscribing to our Youtube or following us on Twitter and then use those points to get items. Currently we will be using this to distribute our out of cycle Twitch items rather than selling them as we had previously suggested. This allows players to get what they missed before or just get them without going through Twitch.

In the future we will update the rewards program with new ways to earn more points and pick up cool rewards they may have missed, or even possibly entirely new stuff. Let us know what you think!

Return of them - Turn of Tides is coming next week!
Just dropping in for a quick (not-so-quick) update.
As I mentioned previously we ran into a bit of an issue that caused a delay in the live update "Turn of Tides". Long story short we had some performance issues that required a decent amount of work to correct. While it's ok on a beta branch, we did not feel comfortable putting things out to the live game in it's current state. So we thought it be good to let you all know what's been going on and where we stand.
Things worked on during the delay:
- Put in Retrofitting (Adding new content to old worlds)
- Improving the reaction of land creatures to the water environment. (fixing things like bosses just walking towards the player even though they are stuck on the shore)
- Improved creature pathfinding when dealing with the water. (So they may or may go around a body of water, fly or swim across it if they can, depending on the situation)
- Ocean related stability improvements. (lag)
In progress:
- Making sure controller is properly supported for boating
- Improving the visuals of the water. (Separating biomes, putting an edge to the world.)
- Redesigned the gameplay of boat, mast, anchor and steering wheel for more interesting Ocean navigation.
We have done a lot of work that will prepare for future content so we do not expect upcoming content to experience this type of delay. We expect all future content to come on a regular schedule from here on out. We will have more details on that next week.
Console players:
Because of the complexity in the changes that were made to the game, we need extra time to get this update out to console. We expect this to take an additional 3-4 weeks (hopefully less), and we will update you with the expected date as soon as we submit to cert and have a better handle on what the date will be.
We are very sorry for this and we know this is going to be disappointing, but we believe that given the extent of the changes we are making to the game, we need the extra time to make sure everything is ready.

Warmwood really needs food to return health
I love this character , i love farming,
but i can't stand that we can not return our health by eating food .
It means we can't experience more part of this game : Battle .
this features means the character only can stay at home and farming all the time.
It's not good.
Just for the living log , you cut him the ability that eating to return, it's not fair.
We can't stand it.
We Warmwood want to Battle too !!!!
We need Not the living log , we just want to Battle!!
Living log should not be the core ability to Warmwood , But farming is.
In this game ,We love farming , and we also love battle.
I guess i'm not the only one guy who has this perspective.

Anyone else not care about skins, etc?
Hi everyone . Been playing DS and DST since early 2014 , mostly just DST since 2016 . Love the game for its challenge , and variety of different charactors. Its a top 5 all time in my personal favorite games.
Just wondering how many there are like me who love the game , but could care less about all the skins and digital gifts ? I just use default skins for everything and could care less about cutomizing everything, or how things look. I see a lot of people get so hyped about gift drops that don't affect gameplay , just seems like a odd thing to get worked up about. I dunno , just never had any use for such things. The only digital gifts I thought that were kinda cool are the vignettes or loading screen pictures , just because they have great looking details and it gave me something different to stare at while waiting.
Don't get me wrong , I think its a good thing Klei does these gift drops because theres obviously people that like playing digital dressup and what have you. Just wondered if I am the only one who could care less about that stuff and simply enjoy it for the gameplay ?

For Warly's gameplays
Ideas not only for Warly, some for all too(my last two). My main reason is to decrease the RNG factor and dependence on others to get his full power faster and a bit more consistently through many worlds as I'm not into changing chars through Celestial Portal, mods and lingering for megabases. Even when you focus on building farms asap, random seeds are still too rng to rely on and a good deal of early exploration time to find Mac Tusk or ruins(both rng too) for speed boost is sacrificed in order to set that all up.
- Pepper seasoning(chili flakes) gives 10% speed and damage boost
- One Warly's recipe with leafy meat for the fun
- One or two wild garlic and pepper randomly spawning in the world, maybe one of them more likely in the caves.
- Scaled furnace let crops grow very close to it in winter and wilt faster in summer.
I tried not to give op ideas, but I can be missing something I havent seen, so please tell me.
