I play DST through Steam with an Xbox Controller. I see when I try to craft an item that has skins that there are options to scroll through, but even when I have that option showing, I craft a normal item. I have Normal, Tesla Lantern, and Winter Lantern, and I do notice that the original and winter lantern are in white text while the Tesla lantern is in red text, if that matters.

klaus sack not respawning after the first kill?
I am on a lights out world day 525. The world started off with the current winter's feast event. Klaus never respawn after we killed it the first time like 400 days ago.

Yesterday I was playing a solo world (I have an another world that I play with my boyfriend...) So I left my world and I turn off my notebook by the power bottom in the loading screen... And today, when I open the DST, I see that my worlds has been deleted... What I need to do now? I wanna my worlds back...

Weird Headcannons
I just sometimes imagine how one character might interact with another and I laugh out loud. Than people wonder why I'm laughing, and dang ain't that awkward.
Anyway, wondering if people do the same thing, and if so, what do they imagine characters doing? XD.
I mean things like,
- Wendy is the closest thing WX has as a friend among the survivors due to her morbid views on life.
- Wolfgang thinks the reason Maxwell is so grumpy is because he wasn't hugged enough as a child. He tries to rectify this by giving Maxwell bear-hugs.
- Wilson and Maxwell constantly attempt to one-up each other with science and magic respectively. This usually ends up bringing a lot of trouble to the group.
- Wes likes hanging out with Wigfrid the most because he thinks of her as a fellow actor just dedicated to her roll, like he is.
You know, silly small things like that. Anyone else here?

i've read on steam that the devs will add more permanent content for DST and what would you like to see?
f.e. i hope there will be a new biome or a new character.
also small things like a beager carpet (because in the late game you end up with soo much loot of beager) or statues made of gems that are really shiny.

So most of the times what I've seen people do after killing Fuelweaver is wait for Gateway to explode.
But what actually happenes if you're in the ruins durring reset?
Has someone seen/knows a video where player stays in the ruins durring reset.

Year of the Pig speculations/ideas
Most of yall probably know the deal by now. Something new is coming=thread where we share our ideas about it.
JoeW said that Year of the pig will be added as a permanent content so I'd doubt it's going to be like year of the gobbler and varg with, you know, shrines and things like that.
-Pigs Ai will be buffed so now pig farms will be a little bit harder to make. For example pigs will jump/climb past fences to get whatever is behind them etc
-Pigs will be able to harvest resources and store them in thier own inventory. For example grass, twiggs berries. Also pick up some items like flint, logs etc
-Pigs will be able to craft themselves items with these resources. Spears, armor, tools.
-Pig society will now actually be a real danger to the players. Pigs will use axes to chop down nearby trees, pickaxes to mine nearby rocks etc. They'd year by year upgrade their sociaty.
-Possible more diversity in pigs. DIfferent skin tones, body/face hair. Some uniqe quotes.

remove Moose spawn point
So, I kinda neglected a Goose spawn-point near my base and I wanna just get rid of it cause i got 200+ days and don't want to deal with this Goose every spring.
I've tried things like TheInput:GetWorldEntityUnderMouse():Remove() AND c_select()c_sel():Remove() and a couple others, but they either crash my game or remove the nest until I leave and launch the server later.

Chests bought in game in DLC list on steam.
I bought the classic and new forge chests when they came out, I also bought the gorge chest out of season.
Personally I would like the forge chests and craftables I purchased to show that on the steam DLC menu. Makes me feel like they are more solid additions to my account. Like the gorge chest shows itself as.

Setting a world to Day 1 without Rollback?
I was wondering if it was possible to change the day of a game back to Day 1 without having to rollback.
I was making a type of game in the world similar to the Hunger Games but I want to have it seem fresh when a player spawns instead of having a messed up day counter due to building the world for a long time, including things like hound attacks becoming stronger when I want them to be weak on the first appearance, etc.
Rolling back would reset the progress of building.
Is it possible to set the world to Day 1 without having to rollback?

Will there be a multiplayer version of Don't Starve on GOG?
My son loves to play Don't Starve. He would also like to play together with his sister and father via local network.
Is there a DRM Free version of Don't Starve Together for Mac/Linux & Windows anywhere available?
As a matter of principle, we do not use any discusting game clients such as Steam, Origin, GOG-Galaxy or similar ...

This game improves my vocabulary!
I love words, and I've learned a surprising number of new words by playing this game, words that even sometimes seemed made-up the first time I read them, but then I checked a dictionary, and they're real! Off the top of my head, words I've learned from Don't Starve Together include:
roseate - adj. rose colored
magmatic - adj. having to do with magma
haberdashery - noun. smaller articles of men's clothing, including hats
And, most recently, in the little ads for the new costumes for the Forge on the DST main menu:
quotidian - adj. commonplace, everyday
I love learning new words this way. 
Has anyone else added any new words to their vocabularies as a result of playing this game?
