Why are there no more hidden-trailer-linked-story-revealing-HTML puzzles from Klei? Previous Year they skipped any Puzzle.
Is the Story dead?
Either they are giving themselves a rest from their games, or they're working on something VERY big,that is going to be released soon?

Easter event
For the second year in a row I was hoping that Easter would be added as an event. Fight with a mutant rabbit in the underground and collect trinkets - Easter eggs, a pair of thematic skins. It seems to me that Easter is quite a known holiday and can be add as event in Don't Starve. And what does the rest of the forum think about it, would you like a holiday in Don't Starve or maybe not?

Is there any way to prevent Klau's loot stash from spawning in certain spots?
I play on PS4, I tried asking in the PS4 section before regarding this issue - some players have told me to stay "away" from my base in the Deciduous biome so it doesn't spawn in there, they said that it will 100% spawn in the Mosaic biome at all times if I stay away from Deciduous, but I don't think this is legit... I tried this a few times and it ALWAYS spawn in the Deciduous biome, even if I'm in the caves all summer long. I think the loot stash spawns randomly whether you're in the Mosaic biome or Deciduous... I don't mind if it spawns in the Deciduous biome as long as it's NOT in front of my base, inside my base... I tried stoping the loot stash from spawning in this particular spot (pict: 
)
because it has caused major damage to my base a few times when I fight Klaus in here. It worked for me for a while after I placed flowers and walls.. it hasn't spawned in this area for about 2 months, but today this happened.... (recent pict above)
I was wondering what I can do in this spot for it to NEVER spawn the loot stash in that spot again.... any suggestion?

Best solution for wrangling the nighthand?
Maybe this is something I should check the wiki for but no matter how much I fence the nighthand, it escapes it's fencing. I'd like to trap it and keep it in place but are there any solutions?

New Splumonkey Farm for non-Wicker players (expensive!)
Edgy Rick recently did a great video on splumonkey farms for Wicker mains:

But I wanted to find an alternative that could be used in solo DST even if one is not playing as Wickerbottom. The method I came up with involves fences placed in a square, with one fence gate, and inside of this box the player stands. The box should be at least 12 x 12 fences, and inside of it, Houndius Shootiuses are placed. The box should be built away from mobs that can destroy it. Since shadow splumonkeys will not attack fences, if they are the only mob at the farm it will be OK. The more Houndii you use, the faster the monkeys die.
To start the farm up, it is quite simple; run out to splumonkey pods in the nightmare phase and get shadow splumonkeys to follow you, then run back to the fence square, go inside of it and shut the gate. Then let the Houndius Shootius do the rest.
Pros vs Edgy Rick's guide:
- can be created without being a Wickerbottom
- gathering drops is far less dangerous since Houndius Shootius will not attack the player unless provoked
- no need to waste uses of lazy forager / explorer to escape the trap and gather drops
- the only danger from enemies in the farm is from the splumonkies/shadow creatures following you (or other creatures you attracted)
Cons:
- can be considered very expensive depending on your playstyle (Houndius Shootius need the (Ancient Guardian & Ancient Fuelweaver) + Deerclops to be beaten once per turret unless the Deerclops drops are obtained from a Loot Stash)
- kills shadow splumonkies much slower since the turrets use single-target attacks
- the walls are much more vulnerable to damage from other mobs, but they are also cheaper (perhaps using end tables as walls would prevent this? i didn't test)
- more dangerous when entering farm since gate must be closed behind you
I have a short video showing how this works (the file is uploaded along with the post)
Note that the footage has been sped up by 8x (original length was ~1 minute to kill ~40 shadow splumonkies with 5 Houndius Shootius) and the farm was set up with godmode in an empty world.
Just thought I would share this since I found very few splumonkey farms in my research. Happy killing guys!

Is it possible to make an infinite light source with console commands?
I'm attempting to create a PvP server in Lights Out mode, is there a command that can spawn a pig torch that doesn't run out of fire and doesn't spawn pig warriors? If not is there some other way for infinite light?

I'm Them ._.
So I really love this game. It's like the only game that's ever really appealed to me in... a long time. It looks like a lot of fun, and I'd really like to play it, but I worry that I might love it too much, and I had a bad experience with video games in the past. I don't have anyone to play with anyway, and I can't really justify purchasing it to a certain someone, who worries about me, and would certainly see the $15 purchase. But I do enjoy watching people play the game, and helping where I can, without actually being able to join.
Maxwell once said, “I don't know what they want. They... they just watch.” And I kind of feel like he's talking about me, because... well... that's pretty much all I can do. But it's something at least, so I just wanted to thank people who record their gameplay, for playing this awesome game and being kind enough to share it with people like me. As for what I want, I dunno... defeating the Bee Queen with On Tentacles?

Tips on how to be Courteous to Fellow Players
Now this thread is not meant to call anyone out, nor is it about venting your frustrations over mistakes noobs make. These are tips aimed more at showing ways of being considerate than improving your skill at the game.
I don't have a lot of time for playing computer games, so when I play DST I tend to hop on a random server and help out all I can before I have to leave (sometimes hosting my own server if I can't find one, which tends to be lonely), and I thought it would be nice to share ways I've found of not being a liability and not getting on peoples bad sides. I'd like to see other peoples tips too, in case there's some I've missed or just haven't thought of. So here's mine :3
- Don't ask where the Base is Right After Joining: This one's simple, but it goes a long way in not annoying people. Now I know that when you first enter a server you want to know where you can come to at night to cook and spam the /dance emote, but be patient. If you aren't given directions or offered an escort, explore, gather some things, get your bearings. People will respect you more if you survive a few days before asking where the base is located. Who knows, you may even find it on your own!
- Don't Pick Everything: When first entering one of the many randomly generated islands, our brains tend to immediately slip into PICK ALL THE THINGS mode, especially those of us who've spent a fair amount of time in the single player game. However, when playing in multipayer, one has to stop and think, "Hey, if I systematically pick every bit of flint, grass, twigs, and food from around the portal in a ten mile radius, then there won't be anything left for new players!" Please, be considerate. How can you expect new players to survive a few days if they can't even scrounge up enough for a torch?
- Drop some Flint by the Portal: It's a small thing that'll help out people just entering the server. You don't even have to go out of the way to do it; if you happen to be pasing by the portal and have some flint to spare, just drop some by it, or make a pickaxe to leave behind so they can collect their own. Heck, I've heard of people making a chest by the portal containing equipment like torches, rabbit earmuffs, and pickaxes to help new players out.
- Don't Enter in Winter or Summer: Pay attention to the day and season of the server you're joining. If you want to join in a difficult season for some extra challenge, go ahead. Just don't expect everyone to drop what they're doing to help you out.
- If you don't want Strangers, set a Password: You'd think this one would be a no brainer, but I've heard a lot of stories of people joining servers just to be kicked the moment they enter. I assume it only happens when someone doesn't know that they can make a password for they're server, but still, it's rude.
- Drop your Stuff Before you Leave: Before you leave a server, it's nice to drop your items on the ground so others can use them. If you're playing with familiar people on a server you know you'll be on again, you can keep your equipment. In any case it's still rude to leave with gears, a big stack of silk, or any other important items still in your inventory, selfishly taking them out of reach of the unfortunate players left on the server.
- Keep Busy: Look around the base. Does it still need some drying racks? A crockpot? Some farms? Do the traps need to be emptyed? Are you low on wood? Look around for things that need to be done, and if you're having trouble finding something, it never hurts to ask. No one likes a leach.

Farming skin as Webber
Since pigs always attack Webber on sight, he can't make a pig farm like all the other characters can. So is there any other way of getting pig skin (except for killing pigs manually) or does it just become a non-renewable resource?
