After 7 full days spent in my recent survival world, I finally managed to beat the Celestial Champion as the man, the myth, and the meme: Wes. Ironically, the fight wasn't as grueling as I thought, took a little longer than normal, but it was still pretty intense. I MAYBE could've brought less gear to the fight, but with how punishing the character can be for making a SINGLE mistake, I think the extra prep was warranted. I think the rift bosses are probably going to be a bigger skill-check, though. I'm shivering in fear just thinking about Armor Bearger...But until then, I'm gonna relish in my sweet victory.
