Before recording this video, I was really hesitant about whether or not to post it on the forum, because according to people in my group: If you share some so-called game mechanics on the forum, the developers will probably treat them as bugs and fix them. This is because their understanding of the game is very shallow. They don't think about how interesting these game mechanics are, what could be gained or lost after modification, or even the joy we experience when we discover them. They tend to fix things based on their instincts and difficulty levels, and they never really consider how much time we spent discovering these mechanisms, testing them for hours, or reviewing the original code. For them, it’s just work... And once these so-called "fixes" are applied, some people in the forum will defend the developers, claiming that these changes are "reasonable," without realizing how long Chinese players have spent finding these mechanisms, how much effort was put in, or the joy they felt when discovering these new mechanics...
I think there is some truth to this, but I believe communication can solve 99% of the problems. I think the developers’ understanding of the game is simply too shallow, and because there are communication barriers with Chinese players, they don’t know that certain things in the Chinese community have already evolved into habits. But I believe they can communicate. Let me introduce myself first—I’m a long-term archive player, and I enjoy building all kinds of factories. These so-called factories are constructed by selecting useful mechanisms from many, many game systems, and using them to create devices that benefit the player. I love the rich and varied mechanics of the game, and I don’t want them to be "fixed." So for me, instead of waiting for some future point when someone who doesn’t understand the mechanics uploads it to the bug feedback section and it gets fixed because of the developers' ignorance, I’d rather post the video now and communicate directly with the developers. Many of them probably don’t know about these things. Some of the discoveries in the video come from deep players who understand code, who have studied the code and tested things to the limit. They spent a lot of time on it, and it made them happy. But the unfriendly forum environment has made them hesitant to share, so they only dare to post it in Chinese circles.
I will explain some of the mechanics you might not know using both video and text. Please note that everything in the video is obtainable in the original version of the game. Since no one has played this archive in the later stages, I entered creative mode and built these things to make the archive perfect. I believe people will learn a lot from the video, and I will explain each point in detail.
