Thoughts and Suggestions on Depths of Duplicity.

Voidwalking gone - As a constant exploiter of voidwalking (Shortcut to the Atrium), I don’t mind it at all. My only real gripe is with an item added to circumvent this change (Which doesn’t help in the slightest).
Bridges - Klei took away the sole purpose of this thing, a shortcut. I don’t see a single time I’ll ever need to cross a gap between biomes if not for the Atrium or Labyrinth. This item is so dumb if those shortcuts won’t be accessible to the people who constantly go to those places… Just plain bad decision.
Fortuitous Rabbit - I just don’t like that they disappear when caught, they look pretty nice and would be a welcome addition to the roster of mobs, maybe when killed they could have a small chance of dropping gold or bunny tuft. If you choose to kill them, the Enraged Rabbit King is summoned but if you release them the Benevolent Rabbit King appears, I feel like that could have a nice impact to finding them in the wild and deciding which route you would go. Says a lot about the characters heart.
Rabbit King - Mediocre addition, trash trading items and also mediocre “Boss Fight” (I would rather fight one or two of his minions with the golden/black horns, they look really cool and the king doesn’t look cool at all as a boss).
King Cudgel - It’s alright I guess but could also double as a more powerful Walking Cane at the cost of sanity. More damage to bunnymen is a terrible perk.
Warren Wreath - Why do we need this? We have traps already and befriending bunnymen with it isn’t that great of a power since bunnymen farms have been eradicated from the game. This item is so unnecessary, another one to the pile of trash we will use once and never again (At least it looks cute). Give it a meaningful use, like rabbits around you while wearing this hat have an urge to burrow a den. There, now we could have a way to repopulate rabbits like we can with moleworms.
Burrowing Horn - Pretty good perk but another bloat item, at least now non-Maxwell players have a more inconvenient storage on the go. This perk could have been added to the Cudgel instead…
Coat of Carrots - Just another trash item we never needed, the whole idea of bunnymen is DO NOT get close to them with meat, and this item negates that, useless.
Nightmare Shark (Or whatever the name) - I think we already have enough nightmare creatures, it looks out of place, way too overtuned. Should have been an alternative spawn from the Rifts instead of those bomb shadow creatures, one or two Sharks would have been perfect.
Depth Worm Boss - Really nice addition, cool mechanics, challenging but doable. Love the drops as well.
Icker - Kinda meh, a bunch of blobs that you can just skip, nightmare fuel is abundant and the goo they drop is also pretty mediocre as a slow. My suggestion would be to change the amount to one or two of these ickers but when they drop a pool of sticky goo on the ground around them is created from the splash, like honey from bee queen but black, you would need to avoid going through that area again or deal with them immediately. If you ever get chased in the caves, the slow down could be a real threat.
Bottled Icker Goo - Pretty good concept but the radius could be bigger and unretrievable to be more effective as a slow down.
Icker Preserve - I just hope Klei adds an item that lets us extend the storage of this thing like the Elastispacer or change it to hold the same amount of food. As is the Preserve is just an overpriced decoration.
Rictus - Absolutely love it. Amazing art and animation too.
Mimics - Love it but we could get at least one use of all items they copy at a bigger cost, like a huge chunk of sanity (Hate the fact they are only an eyeball and can’t bite us back dealing damage when we use them, that would be neat).
Ornate Chest - Another great addition, love finding these down the labyrinth but I feel like they should be rarer. Gets to a point where they replace all chests in the labyrinth and the magic and awe of finding them is gone. Also plenty of (Unintended?) bugs… They chase the player non stop and never lose aggro, also they duplicate themselves indefinitely if all 9 slots are filled, weird design choice.
Shadow Maul - Why is it called a maul when it’s clearly an axe? Huh? It’s pretty nice though…
Gloomerang - Best item added to the shadow side, feels nice to use, not too overpowered nor weak, just the 1% bug bothers me.
Gloombell - It’s a nice end game replacement for the Beefalo Bell, just wish there was some sort of telling when the beefalo is bonded with a gloombell. Would love it if the shadow hoof prints were given to the bell instead of the saddle, would fit a lot more in my opinion.
Nightmare Saddle - Best saddle in the game, can’t complain.
