Quick question, would it be appropriate to categorize the story of DST under the Isekai genre?
I was recently discussing the game’s lore with a fellow who is a big fan of anime and he said the game seems to have an “Isekai feel to it”.
Having never heard the term “Isekai” before, I asked him to explain it a little further and also did a Google search on it later. By my current understanding… I would say DST shares enough similarities to the Isekai genre that it could be labeled as such. But I just heard this word for the first time…
So I’m curious what others here might say.
Can DST be considered part of the Isekai genre, yes or no?
