There is one thing I believe this game needs.

DST should have both an in-game tutorial system and a wiki. Include item stats, item info, and explanations on how to do things that you would otherwise never, ever find out (for example, the extremely specific steps required to defeat the Fuelweaver). It seems like a no-brainer at this point. The game has become so intricate and multilayered that it no longer makes any sense to make new players play with the Wiki on their browser.

The only explanation I can think of for why this is not already in the game is to support content creators. Tons of youtubers dedicate their channel to making videos explaining how to play the game most efficiently. This, in turn, brings viewers into the game. However, I believe the convenience of explaining things within the game itself would SIGNIFICANTLY improve the experience for new players and be a treat for veterans.

Here are some of my brainstormed ideas. I think there should be a page that can be accessed in the main menu called "Survival Guide". It would have 6 Tabs: Tutorials, Characters, Recipes, Biomes, Creatures, and Bosses. Some categories could be divided into different groups. Recipes could be divided by crafting tab. Creatures could be divided by being friendly, hostile, or neutral. The tutorials could be divided into difficulties such as Beginner, Survivor, and Expert. Even outside of the tutorial tab, each item, creature, or biome could be given a couple tips on how to utilize or deal with whatever it is.

I would say the Magic Tab, Alchemy Engine tier crafts, the Pseudoscience Tab, the Celestial Tab, and Pearl's Trades should only be shown to you after you craft that item for the first time on your account. It fits thematically for these to be unknown to you in the beginning. I think it's very fun to craft a new item for the first time.

I think this would improve the game massively. Tutorials might take a lot, but just a menu with all the information laid out in-game would be a lifesaver.
